@ScriptGenius12 WotC is a requirement, so I would guess so.
ScriptGenius12 29 Dec, 2021 @ 2:59pm
Does it work for wotc?

thanks

Stunlancer corpse I think, but no unique rewards if that's what your asking.
RoxeusRose 4 Aug, 2020 @ 8:38pm

Alright so for anyone using these standalone ports try using ABAI for a better experience at least until I update the mod.
Cato 22 Apr, 2020 @ 5:22pm
To confirm, I use this with AB:AI and the Titan is a lethal b#stard with his shotgun at times.
Deadput  [author] 22 Apr, 2020 @ 5:16pm
Yeah these ports were made when I understood less about how Xcom's AI worked so the Cryo Priest is absolutely a mess and I've wanted to go back to it as well as make my own version as a Purifier type but haven't had the motivation.

I can update this mod with those changes sometime but no promises on when because of other priorities.

So thank you for bringing it to my attention, I do recommend others to try A Better AI (Not ABA itself) if there are still wonky things with the mod.

Hey, first of all thanks for those standalone versions.

Decided to comment to let you know that Advent Titan's XComAI.ini is missing a few bits relating to axe throw, that are specific A Better Advent AI. To be precise you'd also need to copy:
- EvaluateFlankedEnemyTargets_ABA which also needs
- TargetHitChanceNotLow
- TargetNotBound
- TargetNotSacrificeProtected

Those last two also call for those two:
- TargetAffectedByEffect-Bind
- TargetAffectedByEffect-DLC_3SacrificeShield

Lastly later on there's a reference to one other behavior missing:
- TryMoveIntoFlank

(Also Cryo Priest's AI looks like a mess but: a) in this case it's true to ABA original xD and b) I gave up on trying to make heads or tails out of it and ended up using AA's purifier AI instead xD)

Anyway hope you don't mind me pointing this out, and hope it helps. Cheers!

Thank you for your ports. I enjoy the flexibility of not having to use ABA.
Deadput  [author] 10 Jun, 2019 @ 10:53pm
Yeah sorry for the late reply but it indeed does not require such.

As this unit is it does borrow from the Stunlancer AI that is currently being used so if you do want it to be "smarter" you could use ABA or A Better AI or just leave it as it is if you want it to use vanilla Stunlancer AI

I'm not very good at explaining it instead of showing it but basically the only "original" ai is for the throwing Axe stuff otherwise it performs like a Stunlancer.

You did read the first line of the description, right?

Does this and other A Better DLC standalone mods require ABA?
superluminal 9 Jun, 2019 @ 4:32pm
oh i know it's not your mod, no worries! i'm just giving my thoughts since you asked :p i certainly wouldn't mind a reskin, im already using another one for alien units in ABA. not demanding one though, do as you please! i'm more than happy with this as it stands
Deadput  [author] 9 Jun, 2019 @ 3:26pm
Ah that is the idea behind the Sparks, their taken from Julian after he betrayed them (his Mecs he already produced for Advent had to be around somewhere) and reused as cheap fodder for their own forces to save on producing regular Advent Mec's, their not cleaned up for that very reason since Advent is going to use them to suicide bomb things anyways.

While it would be cool to "clean them up" I feel like it then makes them different from the DLC character which is what the purpose of the Spark is, to have a cool looking one mission only unit show up more.

I somewhat agree on the Priest thing but it wasn't my model, I am seeing if I can maybe make a new model for it for a separate mod, it won't be a straight up reuse of the Purifier but it would use bits and pieces like the gas tank maybe.
superluminal 9 Jun, 2019 @ 3:21pm
basically, i feel like the spark just looks copypasted from julian's tower, no rust cleanup or anything. less like a repurposed asset ADVENT had lying around and more like a dlc enemy showing up in levels it doesn't belong. cryo priest just looks bizarre because the purifier/priest combo doesn't work in my head. the cleric mural patterns mixed with the strong flamethrower doesn't line up well to me thematically. that's just me though, and in gameplay at least they serve some fun purposes. it wasn't anything awful, just enough small details to break immersion for me
Deadput  [author] 9 Jun, 2019 @ 1:57pm
I somewhat understand but what makes them out of place for you? The Spark itself is something that already existed in the game with the SLG DLC.
superluminal 9 Jun, 2019 @ 10:45am
i really dont like the cryo priest or the advent spark, they're so jarring and out of place. the titan is great tho, so this mod is a godsend bless your soul
Deadput  [author] 5 Jun, 2019 @ 3:01pm
I agree, Irider has made some great stuff that could be reused in other mods.

Primary secondaries got an update recently that allows Advent Soldiers to use them so I have an idea to make a Riot Shielder enemy once I branch out to making my own units.

It will use the unused tier 3 white Stunlancer textures as well as a primary Advent pistol and the Advent shield from the Bio mods.
Mac Dog64 5 Jun, 2019 @ 5:15am
@Deadput: Your right, I completely forgot about the navy/blue of the stun lancers. Interesting insight about the covert Ops too, I had no idea that was going to be a thing for WOTC. I'm just hoping that now were seeing amazing new animation mods like the kicking and punching mod from iradar and the pistol primary mod, will see new advent enemies that extend the main branch of there forces. Some really cool combinations could be made from it :)
Deadput  [author] 4 Jun, 2019 @ 4:36pm
I will say that those 4 colors aren't the only ones Advent ever uses.

They also use dark navy/blue (Stun Lancers/Hunter level 2), Gold (Advent crates) and dark Green (Advent Generals), in fact originally in WOTC the Covert Op ambush missions were originally going to have two different Advent Hunter units that used bright green colors. (They were a Green Officer and a Green Stun Lancer with an Advent Sniper rifle)

It's quite fascinating actually.

Anyways point is while there are colors Advent uses less, it doesn't mean those 4 are the only colors to choose from, although I can see what you mean.
Mac Dog64 4 Jun, 2019 @ 3:54pm
See I like these kind of ADVENT mods where you make an enemy that looks like it was in the original game. Hopefully will see future mods that make new Advent enemies that use the original colours of Advent (Black, Grey, Red and White).

Great. Thank you.
