Update is out fixing a few more names like Egypt, India, etc.

The mod is "updated" to 1.4. WARNING: since the last update was about 3 years ago and the KR team made so many freaking patches, there are probably several L O N G names that haven't been made more sensible yet.

If you spot such names in your game, please write here which country still had those and, if possible, tell me which was the exact name that showed up. Will help make the updates much quicker!

They are:

United States of America -> United States
Combined Syndicates of America -> Combined Syndicates
American Union State -> Union State
Pacific States of America -> Pacific States

what are the various american factions renamed in the mod, if they have been renamed

It's an exception, because there are two Frances in this mod (Communard & National). Same logic applies to the Italian and Indian splinter states.

If National France takes over the mainlain it does become just "France" like you said.

They aren't inconsistently long, just like the Kaiserreich for Darkest Hour names.

@Meanie McTonguemaster The problem is that the SRI/Republic of Italy don't have a clear-cut geographic division like Korea did. They have weird geography actually - the SRI is in the Northwest, the Republic in the Northeast.

Have you thought about splitting Italy into simply North Italy and South Italy? As there is a real world precedent with how the Koreas are split
