I've been away for a few days, I'm glad you're enjoying the map. Yes, there is a fixed Throne of Ascension in King's Landing plus an Alchemist's Guild.

There's a certain commander guarding the wall with his Direwolf, a Bear Mountain on Bear Island, a Library in Oldtown, a big gold mine connected to Lannisport, some guaranteed sites in Bloodraven's cave. There are also a couple of flavorful secret sites for you to find.

Yeah, by default it's only +1/-1 which I already set from the in-game map creator, maybe the AI is picking weird scales. I didn't know about magic nodes, are you referring to the rare terrain masks? I could just make a list of province numbers and input the commands afterwards, the problem is I don't know what #command to use.

I would love to mess with season length, it's something I've thought about going in but modding seems really limited, if anyone knows how to do it I'm open to the idea.

Also certain magic nodes increase heat/cold... but its kinda meh to add them by hand into every province to make it hotter.

I do wonder if you can tinker with season lengths though? As in a '3 year summer' :P

Well, if I remember right then default game designer only allow you to make +1 or -1 on heat scale. But perhaps it's possible to directly edit map file afterward and not recieve a nasty bug later.

The Dorne region is already hotter, not sure if it works properly but I agree, I'll extend it to about King's Landing in the next update. I made this with with the entire Known World in mind, it would take a lot more time but if interest is high I'll look into it.

Also maybe make south hotter? Too many snow at winter here.
