I would think that the rocket launchers can be fired with the turret slaving AI. At least, it seems to work for me.

there is a flashlight in there, i think, which is the one used by the turret script as the rocket launcher is on a rotor on the elevation, and not seen by the script

Hey i tried to build one of those by myself but i cant figure out how you made it that the script finds ur rocketlauncher? because when i do it the script tells me that there is no weapon at Elevation

All good! Msg me on Steam and we can discuss. Mostly looking for the smallest possible rocket turret, with 2-3 rockets per turret. Bastion looks amazing but is huge and only one rocket.

Working with JD Horx (IMDC) on a collab project. Just sent you a PM request. Wanted to see if you might want to join this collab. I could use an attractive vanilla large grid rocket turret design, preferably as compact as possible and with 3 rocket per turret. Ship uses DDS, a different weapons script, but should be compatable with the sort of turrets you do. Interested in joining forces? xD

because it then keeps re-triggering the block, with minimal delay it should fire once every second

i have a solution for automatic firing: turret slaving script supports timers that, when in the turret group keeps re-triggering said timer block. So put a timer block somewhere, maybe on the turret, group it and the timer should of course make the rocket launcher shoot once

I love static turrets. It would be great if it worked with the Turret Slaving script. Not much use in manual fire.

За функционал вообще никто не голосует судя по тенденции,а живучесть и так и так убога. Я экспериментировал,но,в бою,ловушки игнорировались. Удивительно,но роторные турели были в большем приоритете и живучести не имели вообще.
Огневая мощь выше,но игра не всегда стоит свеч: длительность жизни крайне коротка,иногда гораздо надёжней иметь ЗУРы.

☭Android☭, По поводу живучести - отчасти согласен. Малая сетка ей в принципе не может похвастаться, особенно, если речь идет о таких компактных структурах, как, например, "хекса". НО, в сравнении с обычными гаттлинг-турелями, у роторных в разы больше огневой мощи. Если размещать их на корабле грамотно и не забывать про приманки, роторные турели могут быть крайне эффективны. Кроме того, они внешне более привлекательны, а люди, как правило, "голосуют" за скриншоты и потом уж за функционал.

☭Android☭, комплект сборки? Имеешь в виду нечто вроде моего прототипа survival kit для пво танка? Честно говоря, я работаю над такими штуками, но пока концентрировал внимание на сборочных комплектах для танков и истребителей. Для "бастиона" такой комплект возможен только разными чертежами, т.к. там комбинируется большая и малая сетки.

вообще на самом деле все эти турели малой сетки малополезны: их боевая живучесть бесконечно стремиться к нулю даже при попытке бронирования роторов. Даже неприцельный огонь обычных,куда более живучих турелей ставит на них крест. Единственное,для чего можно использовать подобные турели - ПВО и ПРО при отсутствии огня по самим турелям. Учитывая отсутствие у всех турелей из мастерской комплекта сборки - их существование не имеет смысла.

☭Android☭Б если речь про недавно вышедший пак из 3-х турелей, то тут, скорее, сыграла роль популярность самого автора (у него за последние пару месяцев было много популярных работ). А в целом - игрокам нравятся роторные турели, но большинство ленится делать их самостоятельно. Это же универсальная штука, которую можно прилепить на что угодно. Плюс - по всему воркшопу только ленивый не делал линкор... а хорошие турели клепает относительно небольшая группа инженеров... надеюсь, я из их числа -_-

Yeah it looks really cool with the railgun and stuff but I have yet to see a design that can withstand the force :P seems not possible with normal rotors

This cannot use the Diamond Dome system, as that only works with vanilla gatling guns.

could this also work for diamond dome? [don't want to use too many scripts in case they are incompatible, then again, why would scripts slaved to blocks be incompatible?]

Whip's railguns have immense recoil that prevents them from being mounted on all rotor turrets I've seen so far. It will blow the turret off the mount when it fires.

"Technical" gattling gun replaced by spotlight.
Added block group for "Turret Ai slaving" script. It works, but firing is still manual only.
Author of the script answed: "The code needs something on the elevation grid to determine where to point"

Grenadier 658244-526455, you can install on this platform any type of big ship weapon, that has conveyor port on the back side.

CrimsonAdder, you can try use it with turret slaving script, but there same problem as with MART. Gun and elevation part of a turret needs to be at the same grid. When you place the gun in other grid through the rotor - script doesn't work. Only after i placed gattling turret at elevation grid, all works fine.

Does it not work with slaving because the rocket launcher is large grid and the base is small grid? I would think that shouldn't matter.
