Hi, is there any way to change a juggernaut recruit back to human? I recruited crumblejon without realising he's a juggernaut and I'd really like to keep him human for rp reasons

No, it's not a conflict, I am just stupid!

I was looking for the juggernaut in the Race section, but it's under the subrace section for humans. Sorry for being silly!

The mod works great, had no trouble selecting the juggernaut even in Modded Game starts!

No it's not normal, you should be able to use it ...
deactivates the mod that modifies the start and launches a new vanilla game. if it doesn't work, tell me ;)

That is normal yes, but is it normal that for vannila starts, I cannot select the Juggernaut race?

OK, I think I know.
new starts for this mod are blocked on specific races.
example: for the Juggernaut start, you cannot take another race.

Sorry! you answered part of my question, I hope I can make sense now:

I have an issue, I can't select the Juggernaut as Race for the Game starts. I do have a mod that adds more game starts and possibly modifies vanilla starts as well. Could they be conflicting with your mod?

I'm not sure I understand the question (English is not my language)

the "The Juggernaut" mod adds a new race which can be used in all vanilla starts or with its own start (to beat the legendary Jugg)

Hey there once more! I just had another question regarding what this mod and the original juggernaut race mod add: I was wondering if there is a way to add the juggernaut as a race to other game starts, even if it cranks down their starting stats. Or is it already added to vanilla starts, and there might be some mod conflict going on?

So I did a bit more experimenting, and even tho I wasn't able to fix the issue, I think I pinpointed where it is. I tried recruiting other prisonors with different dialogue packages (f.e. Ninjas, dust king, ) that were of the Juggernaut race and they worked with no issue, it seems the only ones that are messed up are the npcs that use the same dialogue package as the Starving bandits, and even there just some of them. I did notice that some Hungry bandits are written with a capital 'B' rather than a lower case 'b' like in the FCS, and I couldn't find one written with a capital 'B' anywhere in the editor, so I am not sure if that is an issue.

In any way, the random recruits that are added to Bars and waystations also can be recruited with no problem, so that combined with the ninja recruits I nabbed on ym current run helped me getting a nice OP juggernaut squad together. Time to see how they fare against Iron spiders MKII from the gen mod! (I expect massive limb loss!)

Thanks for the quick reply! I had made sure that the prisoner mod loaded last, still having some issues with Starving bandits and Dust bandits, however I spotted quite a few Juggs with the swamp ninjas, gonna try them tomorrow and get back to you.

It could be that there is some kind of odd conflict with a mod I have that affect both Dust and starvers, adding more races to their spawn pool, so that might cause some issues, however it seems only when combined with the juggernauts, but I know too little about modding to be able to say if there is a connection

@Brimsaw, change the order of your mods, put the recruiting mod last should work.

Hey there! So I've run into an issue, and I am not sure on what the source might be. I have a few mods installed, some bigger ovrhaul ones as well (Genmod to be specific) and so far I had no issues recruiting anyone with the Recruit prisoners mod. It might take a try or two but the dialogue would always become available after some time.

After I isntalled the original Juggernaut mod as well as the animation patch I decided to mod some of the files myself to add them as a race to Bandit groups (Starvers ad Dust bandits) and for a time it worked fine, but every other starving badnit juggernaut I tried to recruit would just refuse to offer the recruitment dialogue. At most they'd just insult me. I made sure they were disarmed, since the dialogue of them hitting the cage with their weapon still worked.

Now after I found this mod of yours and installed it I tried recruiting some Dustbandits and starvers again, and still, sometimes they will just outright refuse to talk to me.

I rebalanced the juggernauts in my game. 200 health everywhere, and can't wear head armor. Got rid of the stat multipliers but kept the healing speed and bleed rate. As enemies they still take a long time to take down, fight harder until they do, and recover faster. As recruits they stay balanced enough for me. Skelly stats and the big Skelly weakness (head vulnerability). They eat a ton, but can use regular medkits.

Yes, some recruits are now Jugg.
For HN, the Jugg are humans, they have no horns, no dark skin and they are not machines...
all are well! ^^

I can not settle whether men or women, I add the Jugg race to several faction and it is the game that decides what happens.
Jugg are less common than other race. ;)

I do not know Recruit Anyon, but I think it works the same way. The patch MC works very well, I work on the reworking of all faces Jugg currently and I will make a patch for all the animations just after (it's not me who made the patch MC ^^)

It really depends on what mods you install. with juggernaught invasion, weapons of the gods, and some others, 5 juggnauts won't be broken, in fact you will just barely survive.

Can you mod his wife into the game? that was a pet peeve of mine, that there was no wife to find in the slave camps, or slaver dialogue to tell you what happened to her.

For people who having problem find some Juggernauts i can suggest trying fighting Swamp Ninjas. So far ever 1 or 2 groups i found at least 1 Juggernaut. :)


Not sure its should be like that or not but its fun to fight them :D

I would not mind it if they spoke french. I liked that about E.Y.E divine cybermancy. I was like "what is this weird, alien language that everyone is speaking?" and people were like "That's french dude, they are speaking french"
