Had an eye on it for longer time but never got it to work with ServerPerks, because i am not a coder. Now i managed it to work with it, also i want to have a keybind, to set the cam size, to that i edited the camsize scale 0, so that it is off, but the bind somehow only works for the size which is set for "case 0" in the windowcamsize and like i said, it sometimes starts to flicker or jump around the screen, but i dont know why, maybe because it extends of the serverperksHUD and i think i can't use it, if i don't got the bind to work and eliminate the flicker. But thanks anyway for your work on it <3

Such a nice Mod and i managed to get it to work with ServerPerks but somehow it is flickering sometimes and often jumpes around my screen :P

I've finally got around to getting this to work. I wasn't able to get the video feed until I increased the FOV. Each player has to adjust this cause the default is too low. Good mutator. I have to wait till I can see which mods this works with. Thanks.

Ok, a question, is there a command to turn off this thing? For example just take the window off your screen if you don't want to use it or everyone's dead and just want more screen space?

Anyways........it looks like this mut is not compatible with Power Up Pack.....as when I have that on, this doesn't work.....which is a shame...... :steamsad: That's the only incompatible mut/mod I've come across so far.....

As for plaguraism, I hashed all three files are they are exactly the same, so either that guy from that russian site took it off here and uploaded there or this guy here took it off that guy in some sort of collaboration but then split or something who knows and then uploaded he's copy here...and then later that guy over there decided to upload it there......

I don't know, this is my theory....but I don't really care for plagurism as long as the mod/mut/map works for me - I'm happy! :steammocking: But I suppose I can understand if the author saw this and did what I did and hashed the files and ended with the exact same hash....that would say to them that thye copied me!!

I don't code muts/mods so I am not sure what the chances are of both authors creating the same mut with the exact code used......but whatever......I'll just leave this here.....and let those two authors fight it out...hahahahaha:steamhappy:

So for SetCamPos, there are three valid values: 0 for bottomleft, 1 for bottomright, 2 for topleft and 3 for topright.

For SetCamSize, there are three valid values: 0 for small, 1 for medium and 2 for large.

Fore SetCamBorder, there are three valid values again: 0 for no border, 1 for red border and 2 for metal like border.

For SetCamFilter, you have five valid values: 0 for no filter, 1 for grain effect, 2 for a slight blue tint effect, 3 for green tinit effect or rather nightvision looking effect and 4 for cracked plastic or glass effect.

And finally for SetCamFOV, vaid values are between 1 and 179 including themselves. Obviously these two ends of the extremes are not vvery practical, so you would be realistically looking at something closer to the middle of those two numbers.....so say maybe 90......or around there.....

That's because the workshop of KF1 is a bit dodgy; sometimes it downloads for you - other times it doesn't.....and if it doesn't...you'll just have to keep re-trying.....until it finally does...lol Had a few maps I subbed earlier and took me 6 months after I subbed before workshop fianlly decided "Ok, lets give this guy a break let him get his files....." hahaha

This is why some uploaders have an external download link at the ready for this ....and others just have it ready just for server owners who wish to add these to their servers....

But yeah regardless - I was lucky enough to get this through the workshop on the 3rd try....hahaha.... It works! ....except it's greylisted....so no perk or achievement progression.....

Also you should probably point out the valid values for those commands for us noobs/newbs.... :steammocking:

Your finding has more credibility than what I saw on the Russian website. However, I find it bewildering why it was easier for me to download the camera files from the Russian website then to subscribe at the workshop and get the files. Keep up the good work. I wish the camera was part of the regular game, it's very useful and adds a feeling to the game.

It won't work with any mod that uses a custom player controller, HUD, or pawn class. This is an unfortunate side effect of some hacks I had to do to force pawns to be network relevant. Maybe I'll look into the code and see if I can improve it one day. Being accused of plagiarism isn't the best motivator for me, though ...

I do like the camera, but it doesn't appear to work with all mods. In this case, the Alien mod.

I have no idea if you stole it or not, I just wanted you to verify that you're the author of this. If you're not, just admit it so people know and give credit to the person/s who did. If you are, then you'll have to validate the claim. After all you are listed as the author and should protect your rights to that claim.

I uploaded this mod on Aug 31, 2013 , whereas it was uploaded to that russian website on the 13th of September 2013. Oh, and if this mod was originally made by russians and then uploaded to a strictly russian language website, why are all the code comments in english? But you're right, I probably stole it. From a website widely known to steal content from all over the web and from various other games. God you guys are fucking dumb.

You can switch player views by using NextCamTarget in the command console. I don't know if a specific player can be targeted though. The size of the view can be changed by using SetCamFOV n, n being a whole number. I don't know what limits n has. I need to experiment further.

I got it to work by using SetCamFOV 21 in the command console as recommended. But how do you switch players? Also, you need to prove this as your own work otherwise people will believe you've stolen this and falsely posted it as your own work.

It's very peculiar that I saw this uploaded on a Russian website far earlier than the date in which this thread or the one in tripwire forums was made. You didn't steal this, did you? It even has some of the same screenshots.

How do I get this and use it. I already use a sort of player cam by using multple computer with multiple accounts and spectate with them. And yes, this is a great idea which should be included in the with the regular kf game.

rly nice mutator. Can you make this mutator toggleable for each individual player (disabled by default) so people with weak gaming rigs dont have to use this? I would like to use this without disturbing other people with serious stuttering on their own side.

It is primarily client side. At least, in terms of how it handles the display of the camera and treats your mutator settings. Some of aspects of it are handled on the server because that's the only way it would work.

I assume Serverperks has its own pawn and / or controller classes? It'd be tough to integrate without having the Serverperks source handy.
