Just a heads up, stopped working in the Automation Update. Would really appreciate it if you updated this as it is one of the greatest mods on the mod workshop for this game.

Where'd the building temperature sensor go? I restarted the game, and it was just gone. Before the restart, it worked fine.

When I activate this mod, the game keeps telling me error occurred please restart the game. I checked everything, exactly this mode is broken, though the sensors look fine in game

Space Lion, I wouldn't say it's a bad mod interaction. I've been using both mods at the same time multiple games without issue.

Battery sensor works just fine for me.

Make sure to connect both automation and a power wire to it, then configure its settings just like a smart battery.

Also, it doesn't work well with massive battery arrays.

it seems the sensors are broken since the last update? i.e the battery sensor does not work. only on a reload of the game it toggles state, but not continously?

i'm having some issues with the temperature sensor, some most of them do absolutely nothing, i can toggle under/above or change the setting all i want, the output does nothing. it even says "sending green signal" when clearly it doesn't.

the weirdest thing though, it that the two building temperature sensors that are reading my steam surbines temperature do work. which means i'm really confused. (those that doesn't work are trying to read robo-miners)

@azacreel from what I'm reading, this mod doesn't change the way temperature sensors works, but extends the temperature ranges you can configure. Temperature sensors have always been true/false only. You can set it to "above" or "below", then choose a target temperature. If you choose "above" then set to 100C, it'll be on if the temperature is above 100C, and off if the temperature is below that. Regardless of whether you choose min or max temperature (or anything in between), toggling from "above" to "below" will always make the output the opposite of what it was, because that's essentially what that toggle does. The only time it will ever change on its own is if the temperature in the cell crosses the threshold or the threshold crosses the measured temperature.

Either I am stupid (possible) either I have a bug with that mod :( I just want to use item temperature sensor, but it act like a basic switch, changing status when I click on "above" or "below" no matter which temp I choose. Any idea how I could fix that? (already try to remove mod folder and dowload again).

The building temperature sensor while it is detecting the building temperature by matching the output to what the building is saying it's not following any of its laws. I was trying to control a aqua-tuner and I was telling it to send the green signal when it was below 130 Fahrenheit but the building and the sensor were getting well above that into the 200s and 300s

Something broke in the building temperature sensor. After releasing this mod, I learned more about the ONI coding structure and realized I have made it prone to breaking when ONI updates. Now that it's broken I will rewrite that part of the code to make it appear like it should be.

The main reason why I haven't done so already is because it involves a risk that the existing sensors will reset settings when upgrading. For this reason I was just hoping a rewrite wouldn't be needed.

I cant change element in conveyor rail element sensor, there is no options there like there is with the liquid and gas ones, is this a bug?

Is there a sensor to check is the door open or close? <--- the vanilla pressure plate sensor does that. The door adds weight while closed.

That's really strange. Not only is it working just fine for me, it looks like Unity itself crashed when asked for the animation controller. I would like you to give me your savegame, eiither as a ticket on github or attached to a post on the forum.

Still getting issues on load. After the initial loading when launching a game, if you try and load a different save of the saved world (say 1 or 2 days rollback) and open the plumbing overlay you'll get the error window.

I uploaded a new version. It fixes some issues with data not being set correctly on load in certain cases, which would result in the error window. None of the affected data is in the savegames, meaning your savegames should be safe.

I made a germ version of the item temperature sensor. Instead of measuring min/max temperature it adds up germs on all the items. Otherwise it's the same.

I also added a battery sensor. Connect it to an electric wire and it will act like a smart battery where instead of internal storage capacity, it will use all the active batteries on the wire.

Last, but not least I added references to the config file in the descriptions of affected sensors (item sensors and battery). This both acts as a reminder that certain numbers can be changed and tell what the current setting is.
