Commands were limited to what the developers allowed. Certain parts of the API we never got access to, at least I never figured it out.

The other version of chat commands is identical except the admins text file uses a different name because some people had conflicts with other mods.

Yeah I was able to get it all working, I wish you had the other admins commands, "Ban, Unban, Base_delete"

Does this conflict with the other version?

Never tried that myself. Would be best to just spawn the crate if possible.

For the player thing you'll need database management software like mysql to edit the database directly. Been a long time so I can't help you there but there are guides around the net.

@TacticalTupperware, you have to get an FTP program like FileZilla. Then you can connect to your files using the FTP address and password. I don't remember where to find that info, but its there somewhere.

Initially I didn't want to update the mod and force this change on everyone but then I thought to make a different version with the necessary changes. It's up and available here:

Forgot to clarify that yes, you set up the admins.txt correctly in the right folder along side hosting.cfg. You also had it working before so this is most definitely something related to that specific host.

Hey mod author! Previously, I had a server on another hosting - everything worked fine! Now I had to rent a server on Nitrado - hosting. The mod DOES NOT WORK. Their instructions say that you need to create an admin.txt file, you also say that you need to create ADMINS.txt. The difference in one letter is only, but the fact is that I tried both. Chat commands DO NOT WORK. I rented a server for testing for 2 months... I've been fucking my brain for a week now. I just can't get the mod to work... Without the admin panel, there is no desire to play on YOUR SAME SERVER. Tell me what could be wrong? I create a file, insert my Steam ID there, upload the file to the folder where the server config is located. I run it and it doesn't work.

None of the weather commands seem to be working now, no problem with the other commands as they seem to work fine for me at least.

After adding this to my server, it keeps crashing my game entirely when I attempt to join it. Is this a common issue, or is it just me?

@greenarrow you'll need to look at the list of items in the class registry linked in the description. look for the ammo you want (eg. 762x39) and type the name exactly as it says in the registry, it is case sensitive.

@Zeallouz it might be case sensitive, the A is throwing it off. the file name should be "admins" extension is .txt (text file)

@dasaha Does it say anything in game like cannot spawn vehicle when you try that? Or does nothing show up, because if it's nothing then admins.txt isn't set up right. Otherwise i honestly have no idea, you have the format and everything correct.

I'm so sad this doesn't seem to work on my server. Especially since the game is really bending me over the table for some reason. Also do we LITERALLY name it Admin.txt or is the .txt just supposed to be the file type?

I've resolved the issue with 4players hosting. Just in case anyone else is renting a server there, make sure you upload the admins.txt to the Saves FTP. That way you have the admins.txt added to your root folder :)

How can one make this mod work for cloud based servers? I am not able to get a dedicated server but i am renting a server on 4players... So i cant add the admins.txt what now?

@food check if the name is typed exactly as it should. since you are getting the unable message that means you are id'd as an admin and should be able to use.

@hustle that sounds like an issue with the server hosting, may have to switch providers to get more access like that

Step 1 - Create a text file in the root of your server with the name 'admins.txt' (the root folder is where the database, hosting.cfg and other files are located)

Step 2 - Add SteamIDs (one per line) that you want to access the commands.

I cant even create a Textfile i just can create a orderfile but ingame it isent work we have the problem that our server just häng on 0:00 o clock we tryed this mod to let the time run but it wont go =/

@kuol create a text file in your server directory (where miscreated.db is located). name that text file:

admins.txt

inside the text file paste the steamid of an admin you want on each line. here's an example of what the contents would look like:

hit save and you're good to go
