I've fixed this myself after decompiling: changing a lot of the fadeins and fadeouts to 0.2 helped in my case.

I've found another problem, which is when you melee while firing, the fire particle effect appears after sometimes.

noticed an issue with the 3rd person muzzle flash, it appears to be rotated the wrong way, jutting out to the left when the weapon fires, as opposed to straight out like it should
