CheesusChrist15: I'm not able to reproduce the problem. The ship works fine on my system. I recommend trying to spawn it into another world and see if that crashes to. Verifying integrity of your game files via steam might help to.

There are a lot of ships (and ground-vehicles) I've planned and which will hit the workshop eventually. However, I can only work on one ship at a time, so it will still take a while until I have a complete fleet-lineup to offer. For now I've put a list of all ships that are currently in development into the factions collection.

You should make a dropship and some rovers. I think I may have just found the standardized ship company for my faction. (Although I'm sure many factions will be picking these babies up)
