This whole idea was awesome, but poorly executed.
You'll be lucky if you find any T2 weapon until 6-7th map.Damn, you'll be lucky if you find any weapons at all in the first maps LoL.
Health kits? Nah barely 1-2 per map
And the problem that ruined the whole thing, the most....Bots are....even worse.
They are not going to get into the escape vehicle.
They are going to stuck in open areas...Cuz why not right?
They won't help, they won't pick up medkits or pills (maybe sometimes only, but still...)
Overall:
The only good map was the last one.
so...1/13 lmao.
You don't say? Challenge accepted.
this campaign is the first three connected stock campaigns.
however, I do see your point and agree with, but that's someone else's work.
any chance for a remake of this that replaces Crash Course with Precinct 84? It makes much more sense, as Precinct 84 begins with News Chopper 5 crashing, and ends with the Survivors getting into the police car from the beginning of Death Toll.
- Definitely liked how the stages seem similar as the normal campaign maps, but with different paths/directions to take in order to advance.
- Gameplay is significantly long since there are 13 stages, so be prepared to play for a while.
- No issues except for one instance: Character died, others reached the safehouse. When I revived into the following stage, I was 'floating on top of the map' (possibly a graphical bug). Had to exit to the main menu and rejoin the game.
Overall: 9/10
Those are the only 3 campaigns that have an official connection so far.
You're missing the point if you don't understand this.
Our goal wasn't to recreate/remix them.
Although we did try some creative liberties with it being 13 maps.
We tried having randomized paths and changing weather.
Fairfield Fallen was a learning experience and sort of proof of concept.
Disclaimer: This hasn't been updated in almost 4 years, I'm not responsible for more bugs.
Waste of time.
2/10
Weapon spawns: This is something I'm watching and adjusting, as of right now I'm making sure there's at least one T2 weapon spawn in saferooms that come before finales.
Ammo dumps: Have been tweaked to have a chance of spawning everywhere there are regular item spawns, so look for them in more places than in standard maps.
Magnums: Like the ammo, magnums are enabled in a lot of pistol spawns, but I may need to up the frequency.
There was a tank waiting for us just outside the apartments in the alley.
We survived, luckily, so you just have to be conservative and mind your surroundings.
It's a different take and spin on the official maps.
You get a random experience during every play-through.
Fairfield was designed this way intentionally for a bit of a challenge.
Sorry for any inconveniences, but it's time for campaigns to get real these days.
Be cautious of "Absolute Zero" if such changes are not to your liking.
No offense intended to you, of course, we do appreciate your feedback and criticism!
