the problem is the connectors when the grids merge the connectors also merge and cant unmerge like merge blocks

one of the few working Paste-And-Go space elevators out there. to those who say it doesnt work in survival: setting it up is much more complicated as it involves multiple grids, labelling blocks for the script, etc.

After 20+ hours messing with this in survival, i can safety say this is NOT ready for Survival. Not at all. To much messing around is required. Unless you are planning to just spawn it in with admin commands or in creative, be warned there is ALOT of work involved getting it to work.

Or you could add a guide on how to get it working in survival.

Does work brilliantly in Creative, and is a excellent design and concept

I'don't understand. I've entered the cabin. I've hit the buttons in order 4-6-1 and then nothing happen at all. What do i do wrong???

@Richard Asgard How do I change the speed of the pistons? Which line of the script is responsible for this?

@Richard my dearest apologies. I'm just an idiot and totally misread the button order. I figured it out and it works great! Though definitely more suited for moons. Tested on mars at the top of the large "volcano" type landmark and it only got to around .70g before it almost murdered itself. Likely the physics cap.

@Striker Probably there is some issues with recent game updates and script updates that are interfiring with the RIG. I havent had the time latly to update it.
When I got the time I will look into it.

no longer works. followed instructions on lcd, didnt start building and once the pistons stopped extending the entire thing fell and crashed to the ground

@aden1196 - It's possible, just create a new button and a new code block with the reversed order of the statments. Dont forget to rise the welders. Its perfectly duable. I've done it manually many times wille testing the code.

Unfortunatly, I've lost the original files of the Elevator to create a new update otherwise I would upload a new version.

@aden1196 Yes with grouping and hotkeys, but not automated currently. It was never meant really to come back down.

@Superpiston35 - Mr Kland can attack at any moment... not much I can do :-)

@DrwTrippy - It's tru the Elevator works great in Creative, but for Survival the massive grids it builds can create some probles, you just have to tweake it.

@thecrazy13 - Just create the grids in survival and add the turrets/missiles as you like, it should work.

Think you could make a version with a gatling on either side of each junction and some gatlings on the moving platform? I had some issues with being interrupted halfway through by a random pirate attack and it would be nice if the platform was capable of defending itself

Also the speed of the system has to be tweaked depending on gravity. System works flawless in Creative mode but moves too fast in survival.

Worked fine for me, the mass of conveyors thou...my god the lag. Important note you have to create multiple blueprint due to it being multi-grid. This can be done in creative mode. Breakout that grinder son!

@Dovahkiin - I just tested a new copy of the Elevator blueprint and everithing is working fine... maybe is something you change without noticing.

@Gratznov - There is a button to stop the all process, but not in the middle of a cycle. That has to due with how the script (Easy Automation) was made.

Of course you can allways kill all the power to the rig by pressing Y wille sitting in a cockpit.

@Trinan - Change the pistons speed in the code of the LCD, do not change in the pistons sliders.

hey, i want to change the piston speed, because the Welders does not complete their jobs to finish the Conveyor Belt or the Merge blocks :)

Any chance you could just upload the blueprint for the individual section[hereafter referred to as Section BP]? I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who wouldn't mind reloading the Section BP at each step. Takes away from the full automation but this is by far my favorite and most stable Space Elevator Builder.

In fact, the blueprint disappears after the mergeblock has disconnected (the blueprint also disappears if I manually disconnect without completing the construction)

@[PIG]_Ariolas Glaalex is right, since Keen last update there's a bug in the game that messed with the projector system, making the blueprints desapear... there's nothing I can do to solve it but wait for Keen to solve the issue.
Unfortunatly it's not the first time Keen updates one thing and brokes another. After they solve this issue the elevator should start working again with no problem.

@Ariolas. There is a know bug right now, that finished blueprints disappear. In Keen Support Forum there is a threat and the are looking into it.

Hello, I have a problem. When the builder finishes the first step and the bottom goes up, the projector does not display the next part. I checked, it stays well fed, but it is as if the blueprint had been removed from the projector after the 1st stage. Would you have an idea?

This montage is exactly what I would like to do, thank you for sharing !! : D

Regarding the resources I dont think this script can do it, maybe in conjunction with Automatic LCD Script but I dont really try it. You can try and do it :-)

Second Question. Can the installed script detect if there are enough components to build the next step ? If there are not enough, it would stop and give a warning ? is this possible ?

I see the problem. You're right, it is 2 grids, one for the base and one for the pistons.
I'll build a new one with everithing connected ready for MP survival, then you'll only need to grind down a few blocks to have the grids separated.

As far as I know, it consists of 2 grids. in MP it is only showing one grid. This changed a couple of updates ago. so what i would need is if you can make a seperat blueprint from the "ring" with the pistons, welder etc ......
