Just tested and confirmed what s0f4k mentioned a couple years ago. The bunk beds heal at half the normal rate whether one or two people are using them, so I made a patch: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3516083178

is this the mod that enabled the "old" version of many items? first off I don't need them, but my request would be that the old version is not the default one so you have to hit the next arrow every time you build something to get the normal version if this is possible. :)

This particular mod crashes my game when I visit my large base.
I've switched on / off mods one by one, took my ages.
This is the one that makes the difference.
What could be the reason?

when sleeping in the bunkbed they only get 400 % healing- whether 1 or 2 occupants. In build mode the bunkbed's description say 400 - 800 % healing, and i read a comment that the heal MIGHT get split if 2 occupants. i dont wanna go back to that other mod w the jankyass ladder that just make people float in the air behind the bed. please i beg you! Can you make the bunkbed give both 800% heals? :steamthumbsup:

I started a new game with this mod installed. Nothing else in my load order messes with TECH research. Currently im on research bench 6 and no Defensive gates 3,4 and so forth are available. any 1 else have this issue?

@WoodHelm No it won't cause any crashes. The next version of the mod will add a two-part bunk bed, and the existing bunk bed will only allow a single character to use it.

Hi, loving the mod, have been using it for a good while now, but have a question about the bunk beds - it wont cause any crashes if two of my characters go to lay down on the bottom bunk? as I've noticed they both go on one bunk if they both approach it from one side - is there any way or intent on fixing this?

Having a problem with the large map table, im in fort mirrage, squatting in there as my base placed the table in the y house with f12 but its covered in sand so i cant see the map? anything you can do to disable it being affected by enviromental effects like sand covering it please?

hey I have an issue the bookshelf does not allow me to put the traders guild ledger onto it as it says "invalid container type" is it possible that you could fix this? As I'm trying to collect every book and put them all on bookshelves. Thanks

@Mechanica Love your work! Really enjoying the extra variety in furniture. My only question - should I be able to build Solar Panels inside NPC towns? (On top of buildings I own obviously.)

@ Mechanica - true so true, however keeping a base within the Holy nation's territories means you'll have to pass as a believer and stack up on the "scriptures" lol...you must always act holy or provide your followers ample reading material depending on faction you're fighting/allying ;) Thanks again for this mod!

No, you're not doing anything wrong. I didn't think to add a stackable bonus to the bookshelves, since there's no reason to keep multiple copies of most books. I'll change them to allow stacking in the next version of the mod, which I'm working on at the moment.

awesome mod, instant favorite, however one thing kinda bugs me at first glance the bookshelves don't stack items - am I doing something wrong?? on the plus side it gets some of the dead space filled with useful containers above the furniture/floor containers

@Sahgandhi Cultist: Not sure what you mean by "vanilla idle sits", but if you're talking about this mod they come from the Idle Stands research, not any of the furniture blueprints. If that research has been completed you should find them all grouped under Idle Sits/Idle Stands in the Interior category. If you're still missing the Idle Sits or any other furniture, check your mod list to make sure you haven't accidentally removed any mods.

I got both blueprints, and now I'm able to build all the furniture. It really improved my game by making by base seem lived-in.

@Das Boot: Are you sure you have both blueprints? There are two furniture blueprints in the game: "Basic Furniture" and "Random Furniture". I added some of the new furniture to each blueprint, and some to other research if that was more appropriate; for example, Bunk Beds were added to the "Beds" research, and the Bookshelf is part of the "Item Storage" research.

This mod isn't fully working. Even after I bought the basic furnature blueprints I'm not getting the option to build tables, chairs, or bathtubs. I can build bunkbeds, dyed beds, and bookshelves just fine.

I've actually got animal skin rugs on my list of things to add. You wouldn't be able to turn corpses directly into rugs, but I'll make them require animal skins to build.

Stacking storage boxes is something you can do using the in-game editor, just make sure you click interior edit mode so you don't move the building instead of the box.

i might honestly be asking for to much but one last thing is there a way to make random corpses become rugs as well as storage boxes that are maybe stackable on each other?

@Sir Luis: Thanks for the suggestions! I've got an idea for how the fish tank could work, and a night club bar should be easy to do. If you were thinking of a stool that's taller than the ones already in game, I'll have to see if I can make that work by adding a new sitting animation, because the sitting function has a fixed position. I might try making a pool table as well, but the balls would have to be stationary.

mechanica can you add a food storage place thats looks like bar you see at a night club and different color bar stools? also a pool table thats maybe its an idle spot that trains i dunno toughtness. when you are at the pooltable you become tough. sounds about right lolol maybe the max it would train is 50. also the max a pooltable should have for idling is 4 at a time. also any chance for a fish tank??

I'm working on an update to the paintings mod next. If you'd like to wait until that's done, I'm aiming to have it ready in the next week, but it might take a little longer.
