It's weird how valve doesn't add the whole set... I'd love to see hummingbirds with scouts as it is the begining of spring in the U.S. Also Hummingbirds are super fast so it works :D

@Mr.Adventure Well is the robo bro 5000 a bird I think not, cause all the bird companions I know of sit on the player's shoulder. It would help go better with the other companions if it did sit on the player's shoulder and probably a better chance of getting into TF2.

they are all gold starred, which requires them to be within the maximum technical specs allowed by valve to be certified compatible. they actually might be less straining than some of the items accepted prior to the gold star's implementation. in any case the resource required are no more than other gold star items, i just manage to use those resources to do more. *SCIENCE*

Seems like it would strain a server if a bunch of people had them on at once.

Hey, Heinous do you mind making birds rest on the players shoulder cause if it flys around it would make a little distracting and most of the other bird misc rest on the players shoulder and id think it would make the chances of it going in the game a lot higher since almost every animal rids on the players shoulder, well except some hang off the player. Please consider this cause I'd LOVE to see these in the TF2 universe especially the humming bird and crow. :D

there is already a woodpecker for the engineer in the workshop made by someone. i decided to skip the engineer because i believe that other item is better made beyond anything i can make to compete with it and because i kind of want that item to be accepted into the game too so i didn't feel like competing with it.

For a bird for engineer can you make a bird that's made off a despencer or a turret or both? So a robotic bird really.

The bat suits the pyro soo much and the corw suits the spy and medic but the hummer wouldnt have been my coice for the scout and what about all the other classes, besides that good job

oh that? yeah, it clips with the baseball bat if higher, just because the scout readies it so far back. moving it to the opposite shoulder would have required moving a few more things in the 3d model than moving it lower. i opted for the option with less changes to avoid any problems. you know how the horror stories go with computers, like how you change one thing and the whole thing stops working. i was afraid of that, probably unreasonably but just to be safe.

The hummingbird is my clear favorite from the set. Scout doesn't have a pet yet, and the hummingbird's animation works much better than the raven and bat within the limitations set by the software.
I just wonder, the hummingbird seems to fly very low, while the raven and bat fly above the character's heads? Ideally, I think, they should fly beside or around the characters' heads. Too high and they get stuck in doorframes, too low and no-one sees them or they clip with low map items like crates, fences etc.
