Thanks for the great mod! really game changing. I just wonder how the thieves thingy works? just Viking spawn and raid your storage? or you get event log that thieves stole some hay?

I'm really sorry but at this point I can't give you any fixed date on providing additional compatibility. Forsaken Village was made as a stand-alone mod only for players playing vanilla game with the most basic modded content and only for highly experienced players. Currently I don't have any free time for modding and I don't know when this will change. Please check new content in the future and take care.

I would suggest to you to wait patiently, modders have their own lives and responsibilities so it's normal they do charity work on steam when they have time for it

Hi there, latest mod's update includes:
1. More randomized decorations.
2. More toned down roof + new roof added (dark brown).
3. New stoned foundation.
4. New indoor redesign including original cozy bunks.
5. New lights setting.
6. Added connection with lumber and daub when those materials are present in the game.

@SIRKO, housing algorithm can't be modded, it's hardcoded into game mechanics.
So when new citizens are appearing they will be relocated in house by game itself. You can pause your game for example to give some time for housing algorithm to work more efficiently.

That would be also a random number between 2 and 8 for the invited nomads too ;-)

May I suggest that you modify it further, by setting the number of newcomers to be random, including their gender and educational level? As such, we could receive any number of nomads, mixed genders and edu levels.

@Peckoij, like I posted many times, I don't give permission to modify or use my mods files with your own personal changes. Using other modders work is not ethical when you know we don't agree with this kind of "tweaking". Remember that in the future. Sooner or later you'll experience incompatibility issues. If you want something to be changed then request it and wait for Author's modifications. Thank you in advance for respecting our work and rights, intellectual property and ethical boundaries.

@eien Really like your mods, especially this one. Although I had one minor issue with mod, every group of nomad is clones of eachother, except for age. In example all are uneducated females. I took a look at code and edited it so every arriving nomads sex and edu is randomized in addition to his/hers age. If you are interested in i can share those two functions i added with you.

@ffzein as I mentioned many times earlier, please do not change code on your own in my mods files, all of my mods are made to work with core game mechanics and they are coded to work differently in different conditions, by changing my code you're breaking game mechanics and compatibility with other mods made by me, I would strongly advice you to use my mods in the form I published them or to request changes.

lol, well while I was writing my previous comment/questions, they showed up! When I went back to the game, there were suddenly about 13 new people with the homeless icon on them, all gathered in the nomads post. Guess I better build more houses!

When nomads arrive to my village, will it tell me in the event log? And will they automatically start working on any available waiting jobs, like terraforming or resource gathering? So far, I haven't seen anything about nomads arriving. I have plenty of extra resident spaces next to the nomads post. Do I need empty houses on standby for them? All that's happened is I have extra bread loafs (nice addition :) ) and my villagers apparently going there to relax.

@eien, I sorted it out by increasing the Hay limit in the .lua file (locally)
I use mainly most of your mods and those of MEGADORI's (+Lake village).
It could be that my workers just lived a bit far, and were not really efficient.

But still it would be fun to have some sheriff's post, especially that many of your mods have some potential theft embedded within ;-) + such a post would increase happiness :-)

Would seem that the post doesn't function when you start a game without buildings (hard start). I tested it and it works fine with regular starting condition (with buildings). But it doesn't work when you start without building, which is my preferred start :(

Hello, thank you for your feedback but when it was tested it worked both with start with buildings and without ones. I think that your issue is not connected with house start or no house of start but you lack proper workers, I need to check code but if I remember correctly workers need to be educated and when you play with no house start you need to first build school to educate your people and after that you can build Nomads Post. This mod wasn't design to give new villagers to fresh village (you know, in what would be interested nomads in village with only a small hut:XD)

Hello, if you hay is stolen to often that means you're either not having anough workers or you're using not reacommended mods. I made this mod only for players playing with core game mechanics, all of my mods are made in way that prevents to "cheat" game by using mods like "carry more weight etc"...
In my dozen villages where this mod was tested I have never encountered hay being stolen too often so maybe you can share with me your Mods List?

This mod was tested several dozen hours at different villages and different population and at none of those villages this building had your problem. My mods work ONLY WITH CORE GAME SETTINGS so if you want to use them you can't use cheat mods.

Bread attracts thieves so remember to collect it and do not store too many loafs.
Your workers don't work properly cause either you use cheat mods that alter human behavior or you assigned not educated workers.
