The wooden pump shotgun is modeled with rifle style sights, which is typical for rifled models designed to fire slugs. The Benelli M4 was changed into a slug shotgun solely for variety reasons.
Hoping you figure out those balance issues. Until then, i guess i might try out the seperate stuff from the link. thx
However, this is one of my most dated mods, it was obsolete even before DLC due to my old way of calculating damage. While I really want to update it, there are several balance issues I want to figure out somehow.
and are you sure theres no way to fix it via the workshop? cuz i honestly dont know how sourcemod plugins work (which is why i enjoy the workshop so much - one click and boom, new mod!)
my personal suggestion would be to just leave the m60 as it was in the base game, or atleast make it a separate addon. I love this mod cuz it makes realism more... well... realistc... and i love that certain shotguns behave differently (i dont think ive seen that before on the workshop) but the m60 kills it for me, personally (pretty ironic that you have to be careful with your ammo, while the gun's original intention was to go crazy doe, amirite? LOL) I understand its your mod, but thats just my suggestion
Perhaps this issue can be remedied with some sourcemod plugins or whatever.
The ~50% increase in magazine capacity makes sense for such an arcadey horde shooter. Seeing every single weapon equipped with dozens of drum or quadstack mags is less believable, as they are rarely used by police or military.
they should think if they make models for weapons.
they need bigger mags. :p
