hey Avaness, was wondering if you would be willing to help out with a race server using your mod that me and a friend are trying to set up as you know your source code better than anyone, and felt that it would only be fair to include the developer of the main mod we would be using with this task. Hello there !

Thanks for this mod, it's pretty awesome \o/
I have a question about it : if I understood right while fiddling wityh it, it can only handle 1 race per map, right ?

So if I still want to make 2 circuits on the same map (for example, a Mars race and an Earth race), is it possible to reset the checkpoints ? Do I have to remove the [checkpoint] tag in beacon name, or does adding the same checkpoint numbers in the new tracks's beacons's custom data works ?

Goryachiy Pavel, You have it right. Basically, if you have debug mode on, (/rcd debug) the first line should start at the start line and should be perpendicular to the start line. This particular guideline will become less important in the next update so I wouldn't stress about it. It mostly causes issues when the race is in timed mode. If the first node is off to the right or left, the mod could think the racer is on the track.

Can I clarify about the starting line? And the starting line should be strictly behind the first [Checkpoint] relative to the straight line until the next [Checkpoint]. Right? Can you show in the picture?

P4TR1X, you are correct this is an issue, but it is working as designed for now. I need to add a setting so starting on the track can be switched on and off. I will be fixing this in the future with more settings through texthudapi.

I see a problem. It looks like it just starts at the nearest point so you can start at a random place and get a really good time. I dont know if its me who have made something wrong in the track but i dont think so?

Few suggestions: Add a transparent background to your text so you can see it more easily
use the texthudapi menu elements to allow players to reposition or toggle the hud.
