Honestly i don't know, never had hydroponics. i assume it uses the barrels. I Never made the barrels a food item, not sure why its screwing up your hydro just changed the price and weight. do you have another mod that effects hydro maybe? if ya want, you can hop into the editor and do whatever you want with it. look in items and search for water.

No I have been using water barrels, they seem to become food items with this mod enabled. Am I supposed to be using water jugs?

The Water Barrels are just a tad heavier, they aren't edible, the jugs are. do you use jugs for hydroponics?

This mod seems to have broken automation to hydroponics farm, in-town, at least with the regular 'Water' barrels becoming a food item. I disabled the mod and seemed to fix it. A bit unfortunate, I can't think of how to fix other than setting the item back to 'No-Function' in FCS. Rest of the mod is really cool I think Kenshi needed beverages.

Great mod! Would it be possible to make water jug crafting require a water jug, and leave an empty jug when empty, like with Rum?

uhm, no i don't think you can. they're quite common so i didn't feel the need to make them craftable. just loot them when you find them or buy them. this mod is simply meant to make then "drinkable", you know for those moments when you're OUT OF FOOD and are dying. you'll be glad to see them.

Can you craft them? like make a water oasis play through for everyone to get water from XD

Uhm, *facepalm* sorry for the DANM late reply to this man, i didn't see your comment the last time you commented. >_< it kills me, Anyways the reason i set the water to 12 Nu, is because Dried meat is 15 and i didn't think mere Water had more Nu then dried meat so 12 nu.

But i did find, recently actually, that if you have food in your main inventory your dude/chick will eat that first instead of something no doubt more nutritious foods in your bag.

Hm, well shit, this is probably going to take a little bit, like, i don't have this mod editable on the CK, like i have it installed, but i lost my original file..somehow, a while back. so i have to figure out how to FIND this mod again, and put it back, and once i get all that sorted out i'll get this little thing fixed in a jiffy. apologies for any inconvenience.

Small typo in the mod, the water barrel tooltip the mod adds is called "berral"

Thx for the mod. Also, is there any particular reasoning for the very specific "12 nu"? not 10, or 15, but 12?

alls the mod does is makes Water jugs give 12 Nu. and Water barrels realistically heavy. hey if you're starving to death a bottle of water will become a welcome sight. yeah its a ..bit odd how your character "eats" the bottle but, they aren't semi useless items you would just overlook anymore.

You're absolutely right, The water needs more purpose. You would think they would have made it rare and valued in the desert environment. Curious.

Uhm, this mod doesn't effect alcohol in anyway. its just the water.

Really interesting at the beginning of the game, but unfortunately, I had to withdraw this mod, because all the workers of my distillery drink the alcohol products that I want to sell ...

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but if you drink it does it relieve hunger or effect anything in game? I don’t mod so I only have a vague idea of the game/ engine mechanics

No unfortunately, I don't think a Thirst mechanic is even possible with the games engine, or so i've heard. It just makes water usable/drinkable because the fact that water jugs are basically junk items with little to no use bugged me something fierce. so i changed it.

So I’m curious does this mean you can now die of thirst if you don’t drink water?

okay, i've reduced the price of the water back to vanilla, not the weight however, since that weight show in the game is ..approximate the actual weight of the items in question.

I really like this mod and want to use it but i think you should leave the price of water the same. I noticed that most products that use it have skyrocketed, grog for example is over 4k and food cubes are like 1,9k.

Автор, а можно немного больше конкретики в описание, помимо того что "вода стала пригодной для питья"? как это отображается? как в других похожих модах - вода это жидкая еда? или что делает мод? персонаж пьет воду сам и введена система жажды? или просто мод меняет значение на "можно пить" но так как в игре не реализована система жажды, то это ни на что не влияет, типо так? что именно делает мод в описании не сказано

Hm, no i just increased the weight of water jugs a smidge, and water barrels by a lot more than it was at. i increased the prices of both a little bit to. Thats it i have noticed the price of meat wraps has skyrocketed to something stupid like 3 / 6k a wrap...thats not normal i take it.

Edit: oh wait...water is an ingredient in food cubes yeah? maybe that's why the price increased the full price of the completed item is tallied by what was put in it. Hm, that explains it. very well. i'll drop that i suppose. :/ appologies.
