Awesome idea, but pretty rough atm. The buildings cant be heightened or lowered and the texture of the island itself is not finished which makes using this too immersion breaking for me

if someone build a floating base and destroyed the stairs in theroy the solution would be a form of teliporttaion. the npc have an item that could activate the ground to iland and so on.

Yep I'm working on making the bridge and separate stairs. As players may build the islands in different distance from one another, the length of the bridge and how the bridges are linked(maybe like walls?) is still a considerable problem.

I agree with chrichton'vasmoyas idea of making stair-free islands with a bridge connector. that'd be super boss or really OP, or if possible instead of a static bridge it could be a folding bridge or a bascule bridge since there would probably be nothing from stopping someone from making a bridge and some islands then making their city totally self sustaining and destroying the bridge to land.

I updated it, the non-uotpost island gets bigger now, and you can build most of the vanilla houses on it.

Basically it does. The only problem I'm not sure is that if it is possible to adjust the height of the bridge arbitrarily.

Yes that's not a problem. But just as the introduction, the non-outpost island only allow you to build the "small shack" and some camp things like tents on it, not all buildings are possible until I find a way out.
