ha, i like how becouse you said its your first mission, everyone is trying to blame you for there issues rather then trying to solve there won issues, even though your 'first mission' is actually glitch free (exept for the standard arma glitch or 2)

Ehhmm.. Scroll > Open UAV Ternimal > Right click on the UAV > Connect. Or go to left top menu and select the proper UAV there :)

The connection of the terminal to uav should be enabled at the start of the mission because you have to run all the way across runway to connect the UAV

It needed to be at a secure location + it gives you the feeling of how you should drive that thing. + It drives automatically when you have taken down all tanks + boats.

just got 1 qustion..... why the backup UGV in the base....its so far away from the misson lol

If you didn't get the first checkpoint - either one of the boats might have been alive or one of the vehicles - A bug has been fixed in the most recent version, the bug caused one of the BTR-K's not to function propperly.

First - kill all the vehicles and boats - then a checkpoint will activate - then switch to the UGV (ground vehicle) and kill the remaining enemies on the ground (infantry targets)

To subscribe to the Development build:
1. On steam, right click on Arma 3.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click Updates and select: "Development Build" from the drop-down menu.

I do not recommend you to switch from Development to the normal version every time a new version is released.
