- The Drain Pump is now effective of removing water from from the Chamber at any depth

So I was going to pull up this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ocf_fSMSkgU&t=448s to show you how the SDC was used by Cousteau. I heard Cousteau mention "we enter the WARM haven of the decompression chamber"....FINE! I'll think about adding a heater :steamhappy:

I like the idea about the seats and I suppose I could increase the tolerance for the decompression depth. As for the heaters, even in the arctic no amount of insulation or circulating fluid in a dry suit would protect you from the frigid waters forever. You might just have to manage your time on the bottom better, not trying to be mean, but making it too easy takes some of the challenge out of it. Also space is limited (as you know) inside the SDC, not unlike the original. Storage of scuba gear inside of the SDC would be difficult especially after adding seats...

also a bit more leeway for the depth decompression starts at would be nice (maybe from 15m and above?)

this could do with a heater of some sort for arctic diving (cant tell you how many times i've frozen to death in it). plus maybe some of the new seats to avoid some of the physics issues and maybe a way of removing your diving gear whilst inside the chamber (water pressure now does damage)

Should be about 100M (length of the cable). But it will stop descending 25M from the ocean floor.

pix egon, unfortunately the single Drain pump is not strong enough to pump water out below 10M. Its purpose is to well, drain the water at or near the surface. Because of space limitations I can't add more pumps. Sorry about that

HowlingWolf h5, I'm going to need alittle more information then that to help you. What steps did you follow? Did you leave the SDC sitting around with the connector on?
