Can you make halfs the hunger and not pausing this, i use a level system and the current hunger is 1k and the other mod which says it will half it does not it keeps it full and it is annoying.

You don't get sanity from planting any more and the recipes have been set to the default again :/

I think there should be configuration options to enable and disable features, so people can balance the buffs if they want.

for example, I want the buffs for lucy and weremoose, but at the same time I want to disable hunger pausing when he transforms

Hey Augusonic, please check your mods to ensure it has been updated on the server it's running. That was a known issue a couple patches ago, but has since been fixed.

I still do think that I would enjoy woodie a lot less like that though, because it basically just makes his regular form the best by far, with the woodie rework right now he's barely not as good as his forms he can transform in with the easy recipes.

Well honestly it's only annoying to me cause I'm playing with a shipwrecked mod, and it's much harder to get wood there, I literally cannot use this mod there since it's almost impossible to get a massive amount of wood. Also there was a weird bug where after I turned it off, I never stopped getting sanity from planting trees. So now it's pretty much impossible to go insane. xD

Hi john, the reason I decided to make his transformation recipes rather costly on logs is to fit his previous character design, which I quite liked.

While I can see why you may see this as a problem, I felt that the upsides I added, such as his returned sanity gain from planting, and stronger Lucy damage, make up for this easily.


TLDR; I liked the old Woodie which required the management of wood, so this aims to reintroduce that.

Aren't these recipes for his transformations HARDER than the current ones? And do they replace the current recipes, or are they alternate options? If they're alternate then I'd be more than happy with it, but if it replaces the current ones then I'd be pretty darn unhappy.

Hey Bomjus, I think that sounds like an interesting idea. Making living logs/planks give you food may be a great way to bring Woodie to a better team-player point.

I'll do some testing when I get a chance and see if it seems too powerful or not.

i would happily trade the werebeaver having sanity drain again for living logs giving woodie 15 food and 5 or 10 health instead of just 20 health. and maybe just 5/10 food for eating planks.

never liked how i felt like a detriment to my team because i would be doing my chopping work, but eat up the food without contributing any. but hey. your mod means i should be using little, if any, healing items if i farm up the living logs. i'll definitely try it out.

Appreciate the feedback @PrimordialError, honestly, I didn't really upload this for anyone but myself and my friends, I'm glad others are liking it, but that wasn't the main goal.

I get you're points about werebeaver, but as I said in the description, I made this mod to make him more useful and fun. Woodie is currently outclassed hard by multiple characters, but more importantly, I just find him WAY more fun with these changes.

I do like some of the suggestions, by the way, I'll see what I can do about adding some of those soon. :)

The reason they added Werebeaver was to troll with people. Werebeaver was meant to make
sure you could explore the world at night,
whilst adding an extra layer of difficulty with the whole "no map, no inventory" shlick.
Lucy is a beautiful piece of work, with all the utility you can get out of her voice lines, plus she's unbreakable, so it makes sense that she does 90% of a normal axes dmg at most.
The sanity bit is ok, mostly because I don't remember Werebeaver having health regen, so it eases the number of things you need to do before returning back to Woodie, but treeguards aren't affected by sanity, so.. less shadow creatures when you're Werebeaver, hooray? :/

your logic is poor.
Finally, can't Werebeaver just do more damage to treeguards and poison burchnut trees?
And do more damage to everything else when he's insane?

Wowwww this mod was out of the blue but I LOVE it, one of the few mods if not only mod I've ever did a thumbs up on
