This feature is crucial for keeping clang in bay, and the mining script manages this setting dynamically to reduce the chances of things blowing up.
However, if the feature is turned off in your world settings, then the script can't do anything to please Clang.
You can enable this feature if you go to "Load Game" in the main menu, select your world then click "Edit Settings", click "Advanced", scroll down and find "Enable Share Inertia Tensor" and click on the box so it is filled.
I hope this helps. @deathwallker3 @6666qq
i Built my mining platform put in the right Names on all my pistons Rotas Drills
And soon as i would type in start hit run
and its just says Aligning 1/1 time - 1235345 some stupid number and it just wont go past 1
i have rebuilt moved it and every time i would hit run it just says 1/1
But before it would say like 0/64 or what ever number and run fine and make that big hole in the ground but i just dont know why its stopped working and wont go any higher than 1
If anyone ran in to this Plz Help me Fix it Plz
It should probably pause automatically and wait for an operator to attend to the contraption.
Automation Timer Block /Mine 01/Fault/
-> Automation Programmable Block /Mine 01/ -> Run: Pause
-> Crane Fault Speaker -> Play
-> Crane Fault Indicator -> On
-> Beacon Fault Broadcast -> On
@Nightmare vElK.cA - I'm having the same issue trying to set it up today post-Contact update. Rotor's going to 30 RPM no matter what I set it to....
Your script formed the basis of my creation: poke
I got to Custom Data, and change /Mine 01/ to /Mine 02/ and it just changes itself back, and breaks my original /Mine 01/ setup.
If anyone wandering, Yes it still works in 2024
I have recompiled the script, ran set command several times, reloaded the script and even rebuilt everything including the program block.
Have you had this issue? I have a mixture of mod and vanilla pistons.
Ah I see, it's all good.
as for stone I was mostly referring to ship with tiered drill mod on, those required something for stone removal. Not the platform since they can use normal basic refineries or the deuterium refinery.
However it is not cheap to build lol
This is just mu opinion on this ..so the end decisions is your to take
I would use this mod with vanilla ore spawning and use a drilling ship or simple unscripted mining platform, both using tiered ship tool from nukeguard for the deeper ore mod (modded drill would flow well with a mod that eliminates stone and the tier 1-5 thruster mod because those ship will become from relatively heavy to very heavy pending on your cargo size.
Well that is just beautiful :D because I don't think it would have worked with vanilla pistons to dig down 400m where the Gold and Silver are haha. Ah yeah, but I don't like giant holes everywhere in my world. So I try to make the holes as small as I can, and hopefully find spots where there are bunch of resources clumped together. Make a proper mining operation out of it with just one hole up to the surface where drones can carry everything home :)
Yeah I spent some time searching for an answer to the question you had asked about the pistons and saw that modded drills are a no go :) but thank you for the warning.
Ah cool. Do those pipes look like vanilla pipes?
I use EDP - More Logistics Options mod that does the same for containers :) they have corresponding costs, the biggest one is juicy :P 7x11x3 container (6 conveyor ports)
