Fast question. In the addon of "Halo Reach", to have your character you have to load every single part: helmet, body, accesories, boots etc. I dont want to load and config all the parts every single time I want to animate different scenes, so my question is, with this addon I can save "the whole" character in and preset, and load it when I need it directly?

for model presets just go to folder directory where the models .mdl file is and delete the .pre file that matches what your looking for

what body group are you talking about? a models body group? or like a preset group?
jop 2 Apr, 2019 @ 2:22pm
maybe could you make a script that allows you to change a body group at any chooseable time? like for example, if i wanted to change a facial expression body group i could only keep it that way for the whole time and not be able to change it on a different frame...

@jlcook1142 In the upper corners of the Animation Set Editor window you'll see 2 buttons, one is a + the other looks like a gear. Click the one that looks like a gear. If "Show Scene Hierarchy" is unchecked, click it to turn on the check mark.

Here is a script suggestion, please let me know if you can do that or not. I would highly appreciate it.
So this script will allow you to, copy the model of any amount you set. And will allow us to spread those models randomly.
This kind of script will helpful, especially when you create a forest scene using trees. (Copying them one by one and spread them randomly by manual is just time consuming) I know it's possible to do that with particles, but you can't light up the particle system. So that's why doing that with models will be helpful.
