The most up to date version of this mod is on Skyrim Special Edition available through the in-game mods menu. I don't even have the older version of Skyrim installed anymore, so no new development will be made on this version.

The new version has made some significant changes to how the spell works, costing a small amount of magika per arrow summoned, but the spell itself is toggled on/off. They also benefit from the Mystic Binding perk, grant a tiny amount of Conjuration skill each time an arrow is summoned, and will soon also support the soultrap/banishing perks once my testing of the workaround is complete.

Unfortunately, the Bound Weapon perk effects require an enchantment on the weapon in question. Since arrows cannot have enchantments added to them in the Creation Kit, it requires a very script intensive workaround to get those perks to affect them.

Scoot-aloo that would be amazing if they did that, but i dont think they do.

This is a very useful mod, aside from the Arrows just looking great (and that you can just spam them at will :P) A Shame that the arros themselves don't seem to be affected by the Bound weapons perks in the conjuration skill tree. The Automatic Soul Trap would be very useful (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong with that.)

Do you need the DLC?

@Nitro The Dawnguard version was actually created first, but I had forgotten it had that dependency when I first published it. This was brought to my attention as a number of people without Dawnguard couldn't get it to load. I changed the description to reflect the requirement then recreated the mod without the Dawnguard dependencies. That second mod is the one here.

I'm sorry if you were having issues with the original, since it seems you wanted the non Dawnguard version. It was entirely an oversight on my part, and I had explained this in the comment thread on the original version.

@Corbak I have a Dawnguard version up, it does not have bolts yet since I need to make a custom texture for them, and it is taking me a while to get something I am heppy with.

well i just reinstalled skyrim for nothing. only after simply waiting a day did it show up in the files as "bound arrows - dawngaurd edition" you should have created the dawnguard version SEPERATELY instead of overwriting your previous vanilla one as dawnguaurd THEN creating a vannila one seperately... so thank you very much for that collosoal pain in the ass...

all right, mod starts up, everything seems to work well, but...
first ingame crash ever (iirc) occured after 10 mins testing the mod, using the zoomed in bow stance a lot and killing everyone in sight: deers, elks, bears, one "free the prisoner"-event and one small keep (no indoor areas); i'll give it another try soon (tm).

Hi the mod works for me and is great! But can you make a dawnguard version for bolts please?
MooshBesh 14 Aug, 2013 @ 1:24am
try in the command "help bound" and if it shows the spell write "player.addspell ID of the spell"

I've got vanilla Skyrim, and the tome does not show up in Helgen Keep.
