Might be an issue with this and 1.26. All my batteries are spawning dead.

Lots of mods got broken updating to 1.10, and I'm not able to use my main PC with DayZ, so I'll just have to wait to test that out. I think it should work server-side only, but won't know for a while.

Could you make it so the batteries don't drain when they aren't being used? I literally had all of my batteries in my inventory and in my NVG drain even tho I never turned on NVG or even used the other batteries in my inventory.

Hey, It´s me again, sorry to bother. Could you point me to any document, or guide me so I can get into modding? I know it's such a vague request, but I'm just trying to change timers for actions and item values for hardcore dayz servers. Hell, even just tell me what files I should open, with obsession, time and trial and error I think I will figure it out.
I would love to make a big hardcore dayz server pack, release it to the general public, but fine tune it for a server I play in and pitch it to the server owner!

@The Big Election not without modding the game files unfortunately. If your server admin is able to do that then changing the energy consumption value on NVGs would be the quick dirty way (same way this mod increases battery storage). A more elegant way would be modifying the energy script to check if the device draining the battery is NVGs and if it is, increasing that drain and if not then leaving it alone.

Hey, is there any way to change the energy consumption of items? Because I know a server owner that is really interested in this, but doesn´t want to buff night vision so that big clans dont have a huge advantage over everyone.

That means your profile string is incorrect, you dont have the key in the right location, or your client does not have the addon installed and the proper string in the parameter. ;) Basically thats saying your server and your client do not match as far as installed and running mods

I haven't edited the PBO, and the launch parameters should be correct, since I haven't edited anything.

Have you edited the PBO in anyway? Is your launch parameter correct?

I have followed the directory and it all shows the keys are in the right place, but when I try to play, it continues to say 'You have been kicked from the server'. something to do with PBO permissions or something.

@chaosdemon122 Are you sure you have the key file in the right directory and that your launch parameters are correct? This mod is confirmed working so your issue is likely configuration related; either conflicting mods or corrupt download etc.

Great stuff, thanks. Do you think it would be ok to also bump recharge rate for new batteries as well? Takes ages to refill those now. Not proportionally to capacity increase, but maybe a bit.

I've aimed to make mods that keep the spirit of the game in tact while also changing some things that typically bother people; maybe there are a few others in there you might like! Rate and fave if you are so inclined, it doesn't do anything for me personally other than validate my efforts lol :D Oh! And let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Yup, seems to work as advertised. Been running the radio panel ingame for about 2 hours or so. You may have helped me stay on the air. Well, the zombies are upset and might find my secret transmitter. God mode helps

Only 9V? Is the Car and truck battery affected? Increased life that battery can be used or increase of number of spawns? I would like a battery that lasts alot longer than regular ones. I am using a Radio transmitter panel to broadcast music to the personal radios for player entertainment.

Thanks @Not A Bana ! And I agree! We were stock piling batteries on our server with nothing to put them in. This mod seems to have helped that out a lot. Love your mods btw.
