It does throw out the gravel... but you use so little that mining out a small part of the planet can supply all that you need for months! Which is, imppresive!

Also, have you looked at the lare grid version? It’s desinge for massive miners, like the one I’m planning on making (With a drill head that is 3 kilometers, so even the largest astroids fit in it!)

Nice job with this design. It might help people get their own design working. As for me, im already mining the whole moon so this setup, i have it on my base.
