The huge disatvantage of this mod is, it's making it really hard to pick anything but Chrysi when starting a game.
Vast changeling empires consisting of 90% annexed cities producing 100+ global happiness are insane.

@Harald I figured it out. Apparently the mods Advanced air units and naval units don't work with any custom civilization mods out there. Thanks anyways!

For the record, the current versions of this, luna and celestia don't replace any existing civs. I wouldn't know what causes them not to show up though. The mod does show up in the in-game mod menu?
I'm not using modified DLL for that mod.

This, lunar, and celestia civs don't appear in game. Whatever civ this and the lunar one replace, and sweden are still there. Do you know what kind of mod would conflict? And does the 3d pony's use a modified DLL as well?

The city names are based on various broad categories of (mostly) metamorphosing insects. There were a couple of sites with big lists of names like this (I didn't have to change the names much; you can type most of them into wikipedia and get results).

The infiltrator not building citadels is intentional. Their city-attack bonus is just that good imo. I'm not sure what's happening with the religion thing; I may have to look into that later.

Are the infiltrator supposed to be unable to build citadels, or is it a bug/oversight? It's kinda anoying to have to delete all the infiltrators you don't need. Also whenever I play against the Changelings they seem to be unable to found a religion, and instead they just have a bunch of great prophets sitting around doing nothing. The same problem also happens with Luna, but not with Celestia.

Yeah thats what I did, to an extent, I think maybe I'll try seperating the sounds somehow, even though from my understanding the audio should work anyways from looking at other xml files...

The base rule of modding new things is to copy the existing structures as much as possible. Adapt the mod's sound-related XML file to the structure used in sound-related XML files in DLC (it's slightly different from what is normally used in mods), split it into a Defines and a Scripts file, refer to those in the .Civ5Pkg (tags <AudioDefines> and <AudioScripts2D>).
I've not actually tried that, but it'll be your best bet.

Question: I found a way to "shove" this into the dlc , thus allowing it to run even in multiplayer, and I was wondering if you knew a way to flag the audio properly in the civ5pkg file, everything else works perfectly. Or am I being a noob and making this harder than it should be?

Are conquered city-states supposed to also give extra votes at the World Congress? I've eaten half the map, including two other Civs, and I'm only seeing my base two votes.

Umm, I have a problem: This mod won't show up in my Mods list, I have all the Expansions and I have had it before, so it should work. But due to some problems with some other mods I had to unsubscribe from all of them. But when I re-subscribe to this one it won't show up on the list...

Update: Now non-replacer. This also means it should now be playable by people without Gods & Kings. (Still requires Brave New World.)
Also added the standard power boost to the Infiltrator so that it can spawn from XP like a regular general (a kind of hardcoded requirement sadly).

Oh, Guess that civilization just had a LOT of happiness then somehow. However, I forgot to mention that your method of overcoming the happiness problem (which was conquering many cities) was the one I attempted to use that game, however the people... or the changelings... still became unhappy. This issue came from the fact that the House of Love's happiness offset was not enough to cover very long for each changeling's added unhappiness (from the special ability), so was I supposed to have around 2-3 population per city?

The happiness issues in the original mod were by design, reflecting a need to draw love from others to prosper (in return, the HoL was free and more powerful). In this version they've moved beyond that problem, like in the comics.
And the bonus happiness doesn't affect other civs, I just meant 'global' to say that it is always added to your empire's tally, even if the city is small and already stuffed with other happiness buildings. (Normal happiness buildings can only grant up to the city's size in happiness bonuses. The only unmodded buildings that give happiness directly to the empire are Circus Maximus, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower and Prora, and the HoL uses the same code as them.)

Whenever I tried to use the original mod, I would have a very significant happiness problem. Has that been solved somehow here? Additionally, when you manage to take over multiple cities as the changelings, that global happiness benefit tends to help the other civs a lot too, so I would suggest making that a personal happiness boost. (Because I've had where the other civs had 80 plus happiness by mid game.)

I am quite honestly conflicted, I like changelings enough that I want the mod and I hate the celts enough that I'd just LOVE to replace them, but I'd honestly never want to fight agianst them cause, agian, I like changelings enough that I'd rather not kill them off like I usually do in a Civ game :/
