Alpha 10 is scheduled to be released in a few days so I'll be marking this version as obsolete but leaving it up in case anyone needs the alpha 9.7 version for whatever reason.

You have to warp to other planets to discover them, or use the console command "sectors reveal' to reveal them all (I believe "sectors hide" will hide them again).

Alpha 10 should be going on the experimental branch tomorrow.

I'll be updating for alpha 10 and uploading it as a new scenario later this week and keeping this version here for those who remain on alpha 9.7.

Just did an update that mostly adds a few more space POIs.

This will probably be the last update until Alpha 10 goes on the experimental branch which might be as soon as this coming Monday! As soon as it does I'll be updating this scenario to A10.

For anyone having troubles with COOP servers, the devs are aware:

"Oke, Seems to work when you use direct IP and Port. Doesnt seem to work when u use the friends tab or steam join.

Will be fixed tomorrow with high prio"

It's an Empyrion glitch. Keeps popping up every so often. Looks like a known issue:

Love the mod so far! Haven't experienced anything game breaking but I have encountered an odd glitch where random structures (typically cargo boxes but sometimes fuel tanks and others) will spawn randomly in the air in various locations around the planet. I've only experienced this on the one planet but I've only been to 3. I can't interact with them in any way (access or destroy) but they don't allow me to pass through them. It doesn't bother me at all just figured I'd report it to help out XD I have screenshots if you want. Could also be an empyrion glitch but this is the first time I've encountered it

Okay just got conformation there's a game bug that might prevent playfields from having more than 255 structures on them. Supposedly fixed in A10. I'll be moving this scenario over to A10 once it releases into experimental so hopefully this fixes both the structure limit problem and the dedicated server issues.

If you're running a dedicated server and using EAH you might want to change some of the structure settings by increasing the playfield max structure limit or by disabling structure-control deletion or structure limit control. Some of the playfields in this scenario have more POIs in a playfield than EAH's default limit of 300.

Great update! A hint on the prefab "Eden_BA_AbyssPlasmaLab" are space ion cannons mounted. So many new pois... do you have 36 hours days? ;-)

And if you want the new stuff but don't want to start completely over, you can always use the itemmenu and sbp commands to give yourself some of the stuff you had as a head start.

Would probably have to start a new save if you want the new moons. There are ways to add them to an existing save game but they're a bit technical.

This update didn't add too much though, so if you're in the middle of a game you can just continue your current save game until I do a bigger update. :)

Question: Do I need to start again (do wipe) after updating the scenario?
Or is it enough to delete any files \ folders in the save folder? So that they re-created.

The scenario update I was planning on doing got set back a bit from trying to troubleshoot this bug and also because I have a cold which makes working on stuff not so fun. :) I'm still going to try to release the update tonight or this weekend though.

I'm sorry about the coop/dedi issues but it really does look like a game bug. The devs are aware of it so hopefully they can get it fixed soon.

There should be an easy one-step workaround for both COOP and dedicated servers in the meantime:

COOP:
First start a new game in single player mode. Select your chosen starter planet and let it load into the game completely then quit back to the main menu. Go to the resume game window and load up your new save game as "COOP" by hitting the little arrow next to the load button. It may take your server a few minutes to start, it's a large scenario. That should work.

DEDICATED (would also work for COOP):
After copying the scenario to your dedicated server, you'll also need to copy all the Eden playfields from the scenario folder into the default playfields folder of your server. (do servers have a default playfields folder?). Then you should be able to start the server, but I've only tested this in COOP mode.

Anything special I need to do to run this as a dedicated server? I've run a few other scenarios, but for some reason when I try to run this it looks like the dedicated .exe is just sitting doing nothing and the server never starts up. My hardware should have no problem, so I must be missing something.

I copied everything to my scenarios folder. I can run it single player. Trying to start a co-op session instead of the normal dedicated server route I get an error to connect and the .exe again looks like it's doing nothing. I've tried manually stating the dedicated service, used the EAH tool, and the game server manager. Nothing working. :(

My hardware is an AMD 16 core threadripper, 64 GB RAM, everything on SSD. I run numerous other games servers, including other Emperyion scenarios. Stopping the other servers had no effect.

Any ideas?

That planet you found is a default TemperateSwamp planet so I didn't make that particular one (I have plans to make my own swamp planets though!)
The floating cargo boxes and stuff is a bug that has been in the game on and off for awhile now and it can randomly happen in the default game too. It's been reported many times but must be a hard bug for them to track down. Restarting your game seems to fix it temporarily. I'm hoping it gets fixed for alpha 10.

Hi Ravien i'm really enjoying what you are doing here with this project.

I Have managed to leave my icy world starter planet
And found a Temperate size 4 thick atmosphere planet that looks fantastic btw
i just want to report that i also found cargo boxes floating in the air.
there are lots and lots of them everywhere about 100m apart ill link a few screenshots for you

Testing your scenario on the snow difficult start, i noticed that occasionally large rocks and scattered ore breakables were acting like containers instead of letting me gather.

might be Empyrion side of things but wanted to let you know.

I have started a new game with experimental 9.6 and Unity 2018, so far all seems to be fine.
