The harpies have to be launched from a vehicle, not spawned. The vehicle must know about a target, so use an infoshare script.

does anyone know how the suicide drone module to works. i want the AI to perform drone strike as the module says and when i put drones in the define faction module and when they spawn my side is not using it and the enemy side is not using it. i dont know how to get them to perform it ?

im still relatively new-ish to arma (2 months?) so how would i go about turning it off?

also my arty was about 100 meters away from the AD when it was firing outbound.. and the AD was off to the side of the origin point so its not like the arty flew in the direction of the AD...

in regards to the binos.. ive got the map system working atleast so i can just use that as im not often actually within visual range of my targets anyways.

Don't have time to troubleshoot the bino issue now, is anyone else getting it?

AD will engage any munition it detects coming towards it, there is no way to tell friendly from enemy. Don't shoot past your AD or turn them off when there is outgoing.

I used to have the mini harpy launcher option as artillery support last time I played, but right now, it is not showing up, looks like it is not in the game anymore.. is it faction specific?

I know. I read manual. But they don't fire anytime. Only Praetorian fired. And for example Mk 21 Centurion has same capability like Praetorian and do nothing.
Btw, can the ability to shoot down missiles and shells be changed?

Effectiveness in destroying incoming shells:
MIM-145 Defender: Very poor
Mk21 Centurion: Very good
Mk49 Spartan: Terrible
IFV-6a Cheetah: Very good
Praetorian-1C: Very good
ZSU-39 Tigris: Very good
S750 Rhea: Terrible

did u sync them all to the arty radar? i got a iron dome mission working. i just couldn't see incoming arty on my map. i turned markers on etc. the read me doesn't specify how i should do it i dont think

I had artillery radar placed but the SAM still didn't want to fire. Only C-RAM fired on targets. But I didn't use the "tablet." Is it necessary?

Place an artillery radar. The readme explains it in more detail and gives the effectiveness of different AD systems.

How to use SAM systems like MIM-145 Defender, Mk21 Centurion or Mk49 Spartan for air defence, please? Because they don't fire. Only Praetorian from your mod shooting enemy missiles or shells, but others doesn't. Can you help me?

I know that in Switchblade mod you can press on an enemy and switchblade will ram them.

Yes, but for miniharpies you can use the AI drone strikes module included with this mod.

Check the readme in the mod folder for details on the arty radar, there is too much text to post here. What do you mean by S drones? My Drone Tweaks mod allows AI to use man-portable recon, FPV and bomber drones.

oh yeh i noticed the different F screens on artillery tab afterwards. but the arty radar i was testing using friendly incoming arty and couldnt see any rounds on the map or anything, do i just put radar on map nearby?

i took out all mods except the base antistasi ultimate 3cb factions modset since im trying to use it with antistasi. the top right notification box still disappears in like .2 seconds

Sorry for the late reply/. Cruise missiles are the flat VLS cell intended to be used with the vanilla ship. Counter-battery radar is under turrets. It will mark all rounds in range and above a certain height with orange markers. It will also try to calculate the position rounds originated from.

hmm what is counter arty radar in game? i saw a IRL ukraine war vid a year or so a where they fired a mortar then said they've got 30 seconds b4 they receive incoming counter arty. been wondering ever since how they got pinpointed by enemy. do they use arty radar yes?

It doesn't do a side check on shells, any projectiles in range and above a certain head are detected.

Is it possible to disable all tablet operation by setting or writing to init.sqf? In other words, I want to set it so that no one can use the tablet without having to use the module every time in a mission that is created assuming no artillery fire is used.(We use machine translation)

It should be possible with suicide drones and cruise missiles. It might be possible for artillery shells if they are in range of an artillery radar.
