This is very helpful when playing singleplayer on maps that are very much designed with a second player in mind, especially when they don't provide flashlights until later on.

Plus you can still get caught off guard if the zombie isn't yet turned towards you so you can't see it.

Many maps have a fetish for dark areas, and lighting your way while being able to fight is difficult without a willing teammate to help (and even then it isn't great due to how Source handles lights).

This makes it far more tolerable, as you can see the presence of zombies in the dark without making it too easy with a full body glow.

There is an issue ive encounted with this mod that seems to not even fix after reinstalling the mod where all national guard zombie models lose their eye glow permanantly.
