i cant stand this game anymore. every season they have to f something up.

SEASON 3
season 3 took way too long, added 2 sh*t weapons and the only class that got anything good was light who already has pretty much all the best guns in the game (also the only one to get a gun that season). they added the worst optimised and playing map game too (and would you look at that, its light favoured due to a need for enhanced mobility cause of the infamous big yellow wall). half the battle pass stuff was added to store instead for the price of the battle pass for each set. you can tell they were supposed to be part of the battle pass as there were multiple pages themed around the skins and yet the main thing that tied them together to make sense was nowhere to be found. still though, it was decent enough. the last good season in my opinion.

SEASON 4
season 4 added horrible server instability through packet loss, a map you could not get a game on (you either got to play sys horizon, kyoto or skyway stadium. couldnt get a match on anything else for some reason), buffed the CL40 to be so broken the game was nearly unplayable and everyone and their mother was using it

SEASON 5
season 5 added a map that absolutely sucks and is light focused (starting to notice pattern?). its a massive sprawling map that is a chore to get anywhere if you dont have light's grappling hook/dash or mediums zipline (which no one takes for some godforsaken reason). you should never have one team spawn 200m away from the vault and another only 70m.

they changed quickcash gamemode (the only gamemode you can get games for in OCE servers) in the worst way possible. they made it so that respawns are wave based and by proxy, made the respawns faster. if the enemies teammate dies early and you wipe the rest of their team out, not only does it not give them a penalty for being teamwiped by restarting their spawn timer but they also spawn 3 seconds after you just killed them cause their teammate already started the timer and they all spawn together. you'll be on the way to a cashout with cash in hand and the enemy team will spawn right next to the cashout. dying should not get you to the objective quicker than living for f*cksake. also, they've made it so you can switch anything you want in your loadout or even your class. this means that spareslots are useless, if someone doesnt like the way you're playing they can quickly switch to everything they need to counter your build with no need for foresight and its WAAAAY easier to organise 3 stacks of heavies and mediums to pubstomp lobbies. this change to quickcash alone is enough to get its own paragraph.

these changes are most likely going to drive me to quit this game after playing since the first ever closed beta last year. time after time i think its going to get better and embark just keeps fumbling. doesnt help that the reddit and especially discord jerk off the devs pretending nothings wrong. it hurts when you see constant nerfs to medium and heavy despite light being the most played class and absolutely broken. the devs absolutely favour this class as they main it in dev streams. the stun gun should NOT be in the game but cause the devs cant play without it, its stays despite everyone agreeing its terrible for the game. the knife should be big risk/reward since you are able to oneshot the highest health class in the game and yet if you f*ck up the backstab, you can instantly follow it up with a elbow with no difficulty or time for them to react.

this game is so busted and im just getting tired of it. it can be soooo good and yet it just isnt fun anymore
