@Bacon Palmyra should be Canaanite by default in start dates it appears, but if it is released as a country and is not Canaanite, it would need to convert using the usual EU4 method, which is by rebels while Canaanite has the most development in the country. Now that you mention this, I think I will add a decision to allow the tag to convert to make it easier

New update is out! Some highlights:
- Two new mission trees, voted for in the submod Discord: Palmyra/Palmyrene Empire and Judea
- Palmyra has a new CB given through mission in which Roman provinces in Anatolia, Mashriq and Egypt auto-defect after several months of occupation
- Expanded Canaanite religion mechanics with cults of different deities
- New Fanzhen subject type and starting countries in two new Bookmarks based around fall of the Tang dynasty: Rise of the Jiedushi (885) and Crisis of the Fanzhen (905)
- New Scholars Estate for Chinese monarchies and Korean Confucian monarchies
- Events for the Xuanwu Gate Incident during the Tang dynasty's founding
- Various bug fixes

It appears the Bronze Bird Terrace in province 4195 is coded to be destroyed whenever the name changes. But if you're playing as Celestial Emperor Chinese Nations, this means it gets destroyed every time you get a new emperor, as the name is treated as changing even when you select the same one.
Is this intended? If it is, I think it would be best to add information to the description of the Bronze Bird Terrace (and others with the same conditions, as I see several in mmetr_on_actions.txt) clearly stating that it will be destroyed upon change of country name, even for the normal Dynasty name changes of China.

@Aven-0ul I don't have any plans for English and Britain at the moment, since I usually focus on countries that don't have unique missions in vanilla and DLC, and so it doesn't conflict with DLC too

@mp1300c The Canaanite mechanics are currently work in progress. I unfortunately couldn't finish it as quickly as I hoped but didn't want to delay the religion update further since it was tied to the other religion files, so I went ahead and added it first. I am finishing the mechanics on my end at the moment

I just thought about some kind of possibly easy fix for the mission tree problem I encoutered: you may give the barbarian nations vanilla trees, and lock the germanic tree behind several conditions, like being germanic culture, and a barbarian kingdom to name just two. Anyway, good luck fixing that tree, it was certainly fun to play before it bugged out.

Hello, unless I am missing something, when I spawn as an anglo saxon custom nation, and conquer england, I cannot change my mission tree despite clicking the decisions. It is a shame as this playthrough lasted 300 years. Is there any kind of fix ?

last time i played extended timeline with this mod and a infinite mission rewards mod (the extended timeline version) i had a really odd bug. it though i did and didn't have 100% crown land. it showed no visible privileges to give any estates. i was unable to give any privileges to any estate. it said i could use government reforms that didn't exist (it was the same/similar issue as the privileges). it thought at the earliest start that i had enough reform progress to use a new government reform, and i was unable to use any estate interactions (the only thing i can think of is one of those 3 mods or one or more dlc is incompatible with extended timeline, i don't know what dlc/s it would be or which mod it was)

Pretty sure I encountered a glitch; normal England, when formed by an Anglo-Saxon culture, gets no unique missions. Also applies to the England you can select at the start of the game pre-1066.

Naimans:
1) "Merchant Missionaries" mission can't be completed, it requires "Nestorian Churches" but there is no such a mission.
2) "Khamag Mongol" cant be completed since there is a province "Chara" in Buryatia area that I need but it's uncolonized land

Moravia: suddenly can't form Great Moravia and complete the mission tree (might be because I continued old save, you can check it out)

PS : some missions require you to control Central Asia, Iran, or China, but there is no any previous missions reward that gives you any claim, It's a nice mission tree but it would be great to give even a few claims to some provinces, or at least give you a modifier that you can claim states, otherwise it takes forever claiming one by one province in China and Central Asia

@Worlds Smuggest Detective "Xorme" with its patch for timeline extension, "No more border gore" (changes only ruler personality/traits), "Modus Vivendi - More ruler personalities" (also just ruler traits), "Bookmarks galore", "unrestricted nat.focus", "ET Unit packs", "musica universalis" (just music), non of them changes missions or governments I think

@simonfadare2 The files and version number on my end seem to be correct. Maybe Steam hasn't updated the mod on your end? I have had a similar issue before. The 1.29 update was a while back, so if you are restarting EU4 after not playing with this mod for a while maybe that could be the issue. If it's a direct download, it may be an older version that was downloaded

* Random modern countries started popping out in 9th century like Slovenia, Romania, Libya, Iraq and all with modern ideas and modern flags.
Serbia's flag is from 2010, instead its old flag - maybe bonanza mod might be the reason, not sure, playing it for the first time.
As Hungary I didnt have any decision, mission nor casus belli to invade/migrate to pannonia, it would be great if you have time to add something like this for Hungary, Bulgaria or other migratory nations in middle ages, thank you!

I just played this with recommended bonanza mod, here is my experience:
The great schism is 5 centuries earlier, it should start around 1014(latin part of the church adding "filioque") - 1054(the real Great Schism) - or, maybe the event is not actually the Great Schism but Photian Schism and I'm mistaken;
Moravia can go Hussite in 9th century, when forming the Great Moravia and take new ideas - you get paradox dumb generic ideas;
I was playing rp, without massive invasions and conquest and suddenly Slovakia popped out with 3 options - 1)let it go, 2)vassalize and 3)war. They lived pretty good, there was no reason to separate just like that, I think there should be some 4th option at least to give you huge unrest in certain area, or something better because why would they just revolt without even having a rebels, without having unrest and living in prosperity?
