@sora_soaring not sure, i see damage script error when it try to get value from dictionary, so maybe it will not work properly.

Having an issue (unless its normal) where the paradise planet has no oceans or anything. Its just a little green area, some sandy area, some smallish mountains, and then all grey rock.. normal? thanks!

Not a question about this map but for all the planet mods, have you considered lowering the gravity a bit across the board, most of them are in 1.25 range which makes a lot of my ships into flying deathtraps

I think I have worked it out. Mod load order plays a huge part. If I load the mods containing the gas giants after all other planets are loaded, they work perfectly. If I load other planets before these, the gas giant surfaces break and go from smooth to a rough mottled ice like surface.

Tried some more tinkering. Loaded an empty world and spawned Bylen in at 120km, rather than loading Perdiso system. This time, I can add your Elysium 2.0 mod and Water mod with no changes to Bylen. Add Agaris and/or Planet 26, and Bylen's surface turns rough again. I tried loading Perdiso system again, with just Water mod and Elysium 2.0, and Bylen was immediately rough again.

I have tested it a bit more with other gas giants by other people and the same happens. I removed the water mod this time but your Elysium and CaptainArthur's Agaris and Planet 26 cause the mottled effect still. It seems that the smooth surface of the gas giant that people add gets turned into a rough, moon like surface which is then visible through the cloud layers. Is it possible to edit the surface back to smooth please even if I do this in config files myself?

This world is amazing. I am tweaking it to play a private server with friends. Could I just ask if you have any idea what could be causing this issue please?

With just the Perdiso system and the Water mod loaded, Bylen looks as it should in your images, however if I add your Elysium 2.0 planet or CaptainArthur's Agaris or Planet 26 2.0 to the modlist only but not in the world then Bylen goes from looking like clouds to having a rough mottled ice effect as if the world is one massive iceball. I have confirmed this by adding these planets in one at a time, and all together. Adding other planets has not caused this, such as CaptainArthur's Planet Crait. The only difference I can assume is that Elysium 2.0, Planet 26 2.0, and Agaris are all designed with the Water Mod in mind and that something in those three planets is triggering a change to Bylen. Is there any data I can provide to assist in diagnosing this, if it is not already a known problem?

I am loading this world for a faction campaign. Is there anyway to load Deep Ores and Tiered Tech? I seem to be having trouble changing the vanilla ore distribution.

-Escaped Psycho- What I did was start a new game using the 'Workshop' tab, then save a game after starting. Then you can edit the save when loading and add in any alterations to the advanced settings or mod list.

Going to a bare minimum mods (about 5) I have got this to work. Still haven't figured out what was causing the lock up. If I figure it out I'll let you know.

So far I've had issues with this one too. It works fine as is, but as soon as I try to add mods to it it just hangs on loading. Note this is with starting a game in Perdiso, then saving, then editing the save to include mods. I haven't tried a modded game, then pasting in the Perdiso planets yet (Sounds like a pain to get them all in reasonable positions)

I know there are far too many mods to check with specifically, but are there any type of mods that particularly cause conflict with this? Or is it just some weirdness I'm running into with my particular system?

Hi @Doctor Octoganapus It looks like the Paradise planet has come down, so this system will no longer function as designed. Not asking you to fix it, just giving a heads up.

How do i even get this whole system into a new game automatically
I know of planets spawn menu with shift + f10 but there i can see individual planets which i can then spawn in where i like

lol i got on the tropical earthlike planet infite ice lol since i dont have the water mod and i dont mind
nice job by the way whit that gasgiant but gass giant shouldnt have a spawn point since the close you get to the core you get crushed bt gravity almost the same whit Blackhole though it isnt a blackhole but a Gas Giant unless whe got GAS harvesting equipment which doesnt excist yet
by the way the gas extracted from a Gasgiant is purely Hydrogen

@ETHER34L Ore is working tmk, Like all my other planets there are no ore spots to easily find it. The only other thing of note is that there are no ore deposits in the ocean of paradise.

Yet another collection of well designed planets. If possible could I use a couple of them in a custom solar system I am setting up for a small multiplayer server? I just would like to modify the ore distrubition for the specific scenario. Will give full credit obviously. Thanks

Holy shit man, I just traveled from Paradise to Muon, and it was one hell of an experience.

Absolutely gorgeous moon, I got those emotional tinglies that made me realize this is one of the best maps I've ever seen.

Weird bug, I can spawn the planets in separately into a blank world, but the scenario itself, and my save based off it no longer load after update 1.195

Is there colbalt on any of these planets/moons, or am I just incredibly unlucky lol? I've tried survival on Demus, Kadingir, Tet, Xie, and Jericu and haven't found any. Everywhere I'e landed has been incredibly rough, so difficult to navigate on the surface with rovers. As a result, admittedly my search has been limited.

@Nekrolysis Not sure what you mean, the planet mods are tied to the world file and will download when the world loads. Any other mods you wish to add you do so after the fact aka you save and quit then just add them in the world settings.

So this is something that's been confusing me: How can you get mods to work on workshop worlds like this? I was looking around and couldn't find anything on the matter. I'd rather play this system than the default ones. :)

Love the planet and we started using it on our server. I was wondering, why is the ring is fully lit behind the planet? Its a bit immersion breaking when the sun is hidden by the planet yet the ring is will lit. https://imgur.com/ZbIHuyo

Excellent work, doc! This is by far the most interesting and well-done system I've ever been able to find for this game, and I've been looking since 2014. The idear of rings in SE is just awe-inspiring, and the planets themselves are each a unique experience to be discovered unto themselves.
