Yo if it could effect ffs guns it would be fire 🔥. Im rolepaying as GIGN and It would be cool
AnomNom  [autor] 5 febr. 2021 la 19:35
Got around to updating this one. It now directly replaces the weapon's lua files, which makes the mod work with most addons to Lyetzi's' Gunners. As I said, as long as I am credited, feel free to port this to FFS.
AnomNom  [autor] 26 dec. 2020 la 10:48
@[Fyrd] Flak:
No, it won't affect those guns.

@Ban4000 2.0;
If I ever get off my lazy arse, then I'll probably do that.

@zachery:
I don't use FFS, so I won't be making the version of this mod for it. However, once I update it (eventually) to patch in a much more straightforward way, I will not attest others using it to create an FFS version as long as I am credited. As for the second thing, that request can be better accomplished through Bam's request.
Flak 25 dec. 2020 la 23:13
Will this work for Feast of Fire and Smoke?
Bam4000 12 nov. 2020 la 23:16
Or is it called aim time??
Bam4000 12 nov. 2020 la 23:15
Just remove the prepare animation for shooting. Its horrible. Burst fire is impossible.
Sinnroy 12 nov. 2020 la 15:30
can this be for ffs?
And is there ability to make the guns (i.e. machine guns) prepare/reload faster?
PentaSquares 3 aug. 2020 la 15:24
Idk.
AnomNom  [autor] 29 iul. 2020 la 12:38
I don't know, why are you saying this here? I don't use either mod.
PentaSquares 29 iul. 2020 la 10:07
What error does FFS even have with RPG Growth. I've used both for a while and haven't seen any big errors. The only one I know of is basically surviving death and becoming immortal. Immortal until you die of starvation. If you can't die of starvation, then for the entirety of the game, you will not be able to die, however you cannot use energy (energy can still be used but it will not regenerate normally). -quitting the game or entering a dungeon won't get rid of the effect.

why am I saying this here anyways?
AbyssStarer 19 febr. 2020 la 13:13
Well this removes something that was annoying but intentional.
Bam4000 18 febr. 2020 la 0:20
Its intentional. So that your magazines dont have tens of thousands of bullets in one magazine.
AbyssStarer 17 febr. 2020 la 23:59
You should make a mod that fixes FFS's error regarding addition energy.

It gets troubling if you use armor that boasts energy or the RPG Growth mod.
AnomNom  [autor] 5 febr. 2020 la 12:19
Once I finish my other mod updates sure, but only for support for weapon addons. I have no intentions to support ffs.
AshenGhost 5 febr. 2020 la 12:15
Waiting for when will continuation of already roughly 3 year and question? Will this continue?
ItsJustMozzie_ 3 febr. 2020 la 17:33
I'd honestly prefer that, since the actual mod dev has gone Yandere Dev/Anthem with updates.
AnomNom  [autor] 2 febr. 2020 la 20:52
If I can ever get off my lazy arse I'll finish the Lyetzi's Gunners 1.0.8 Overhaul mod I've been working a long time on.
ItsJustMozzie_ 2 febr. 2020 la 20:23
Actually kind of sad that this version of this mod wasn't fully finished, as it feels more ironed out and bigger than the newer version. It does have it's fun moments, though...
AnomNom  [autor] 20 sept. 2019 la 12:24
Eventually I'll start. However, the effects system is far better, so I don't fully see a need.
ㅇㅅㅇ 20 sept. 2019 la 11:03
FFS is out. any updates?
AnomNom  [autor] 5 aug. 2019 la 9:56
Eventually.
ㅇㅅㅇ 5 aug. 2019 la 5:33
are you going to be including support for his upcoming version?
AnomNom  [autor] 22 iul. 2019 la 19:40
@Project_Rym
1) No clue mate.
2) It's safe to uninstall.
3) For anyone who wants to keep using this, you can download the legacy version (non updated) here: https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/lyetzis-gunners-mod.547/
Project_Rym 22 iul. 2019 la 19:12
Thanks for this mod, I've used it in the past year. Is there any update as to why the Author is going to be removing all weapons, other than re-balance? Also I can safely uninstall this correct?
LazySpaceRaptor 20 iul. 2019 la 18:15
Awesome. Link to FFS so I can follow it?
AnomNom  [autor] 20 iul. 2019 la 18:07
@KishinCat:
Agreed, something like that would be lovely. Once the new versions of the newly renamed FFS comes out, I'll see what I can do if the movement system isn't made better.
LazySpaceRaptor 20 iul. 2019 la 18:06
I wouldn't mind an equivalent accuracy penalty while moving (instead of half speed, half accuracy for example)
Skylark 18 iun. 2019 la 22:06
I would love it if you would make this/another mod also remove the slow effects from Sneaky offbrands gun addition mod.
Urban Samurai 5 iun. 2019 la 16:01
Ah, alright then.
AnomNom  [autor] 5 iun. 2019 la 15:59
@The Rebel [λ]:
No, as they are different guns. To allow slowdown to be removed in that mod, I would need to make a whole secondary mod, which I shall consider.
Urban Samurai 5 iun. 2019 la 15:57
Does this work with that other Gunner mod that has tanks and stuff?
AnomNom  [autor] 28 mai 2019 la 16:19
@Blakeizak789:
Personally, I know far to little to add more myself. However, may I direct you towards Lyetzi's Gunshop Mod which has much more content?
Smough 27 mai 2019 la 12:45
pleas add more there fun to play
Wakefield 4 mai 2019 la 15:58
k thx for info
AnomNom  [autor] 4 mai 2019 la 15:55
@qml [Uranium]:
I do not know the developer, nor do I develop the mod at all myself. I only made a patch.

However, no, not currently. When Usehi eventually comes back, if ever, they will likely begin.
Wakefield 4 mai 2019 la 15:40
just a question is a episode 1 in development ?
Lyra 10 apr. 2019 la 17:43
Ah. That's a shame.
AnomNom  [autor] 10 apr. 2019 la 17:35
@ConfusingDalek:
As far as I know, there's not a way to patch a lua file. You can only patch files saved in json formats. All the movement reducers are coded in lua, but the guns are set up in json.
Lyra 10 apr. 2019 la 17:16
What makes it not possible to replace the other files they call the effects from with the code from the pistol one?
IndianaJoe4323 10 apr. 2019 la 11:34
gREEN aug
AnomNom  [autor] 10 apr. 2019 la 7:57
@ConfusingDalek:
It depends on which slowdown your talking about. The "Cautious" status effect is gone completely, yes. However, the effect for the guns is coded in LUA and is difficult to edit. Each gun refers to a list of different options. All guns use one of these, if I remember correctly, six files. What I did was replace the line that selected this effect with the Pistol one, which automatically set the movement penalty to that of the pistol; nonexistent. This is why it takes a long time to do something like this. However, that doesn't mean I won't.

I still need to get back into Starbound, so soon I'll begin working on it.
Lyra 9 apr. 2019 la 15:01
I thought the slowdown was a status effect? So if you changed the base status effect, it would change it for all of them? I guess it wouldn't remove the fact that you have a status effect, but it's easier to apply a sweeping patch like that than by removing the effect.
IndianaJoe4323 8 apr. 2019 la 21:12
Oof.
AnomNom  [autor] 8 apr. 2019 la 20:45
Nope. You have to override every file individually with a line of code that disables the slow down. So far I've only done it for the base guns.
IndianaJoe4323 7 apr. 2019 la 14:11
Pretty sure it already works.
AnomNom  [autor] 7 apr. 2019 la 13:26
Eventually, that's the plan.
OverlandObject 7 apr. 2019 la 9:30
Could you possibly make a patch for the fan-made "Lyetzi" guns?
The Monke 20 mart. 2019 la 21:34
thank you so much, the weight penalties can get very very much of a turn away for the guns. this helps big time
IndianaJoe4323 15 mart. 2019 la 22:19
Ah
