Detailing is very much WIP and will be fixed later. Me and my detail partner really do appreciate the feedback and all will be fixed in no time!

@lord_slamfuck I am very glad that you are enjoying my map! I certainly wish for my map to be hosted on servers so players can play around in it and it would be a greater honour if my map were to be played competitively. Just got around to taking a look at it, this map is sick as fuck and I can see it playing really well in competitive. Just a couple things:

-The pictures you currently have of the map don't showcase it very well. I asked about the bridge because the bottom up angle you're using for all the pictures doesn't effectively communicate the need for top down control, much more so the flanks which are great. I love the mid fight symmetry and the flank asymmetry.

-I'm getting some missing textures seen below, more on the BLU side than RED. Small thing for a WIP but I want to show people on highlander how cool I am and the checkers are :'(

-This bit here is clunky. Like you can just crouch jump to be fast going to the window but if you're trying to drop down through the gap there without pressing S then you just walk onto the next platform.

Just some nitpicks but forreal dog, you got a solid map here. Can't wait to see it on tf2c :happycrank:

Of course! There are various ways to get up to the bridge so it can favour all classes, without it being to overpowered.

I was happy with the layout and it played pretty well. I only wished that I could make it wider but with its current layout it's just extremely tough, I have moved projects and the new project is looking greatly improved @Gruppy

I think remember playing this on the TF2maps server back when it was just a blockout. Also yea, never start seriously artpassing until you get the layout down, it adds a lot of needless work if you want to make changes later one.

@Nabernizer I appreciate the feedback. This was tested heavily during its earlier stages and the map played well with the bridge and it created more interesting game play for a koth map. I do agree with the crampness of the map, and it takes a lot of work to fix it, so I think I'm done with it altogether. I am very happy you took the time to leave some feedback onthe, this is my first map and I learned a lot from this project, thank you! :steamhappy:

It's a severely flawed layout, the only possible remedy i can see is to remove the bridge at mid altogether, but even then it would be way too compressed. If I were you though, I would do what you already said you were doing and move on from this one entirely. Your layouts can only improve.

Yea the grass does look bad, it was put on a lower resolution as a placeholder, next version bumps up the texture details and also fixes some of the janky mixes between dirt and grass. I do appreciate the feedback!
