I believe the glade rider archers should be female but the melee variant might be unchanged
I have mostly moved on to WH3 where all variants are included

The Gladeriders are still males for me, but all the other units are female, is this just me or for everyone else as well?

Ran into a slight problem, when running this mod distortions on the units occurred where the female design was showing but through the neck of the unit backwards.

By cross-faction unit mod I assume you are talking about a mod that lets you recruit one factions units as another. Animations in WH2 need to be assigned to a faction so that it can use them. Currently most animations used in this mod have been assigned to wood elves and vampires but if you would want to use them with another faction, you would need to specify that specific faction in PFM. You can send me a message if you want a deeper explanation on how you can fix it.

Hi so when I use the units this mod reskins with the cross-faction units mod, they show up in T-pose after the last two or three updates. Does anyone know a fix?

As I said I've just disabled the wood elf portion of hooveric's mod, so it's not the end of the world, at least it's all sorted now!

Yeah, it is likely that hooverics mod is causing the issue. Maybe hooverics mod just had an update that could only now cause an incompatibility. At some point when WH3 comes out, I should make compatibility submods for this mod.

Well - I've narrowed it down. With only this mod enabled it works fine. With just this mod and Hooveric's Reskin mod enabled, then this mod doesn't work for me.

However, that's weird, as I *swear* I've used both mods in conjunction forever, with this mod just above it in the load order. So honestly I have no idea what's up. At the moment I guess I'm just going to disable the Wood Elves from Hooveric's mod.

I'm not the dev but it's probably other mod that you have conflicting with it.
For example, I get the same with the Eternal Guard RoR because I -am- using a RoR reskin mod, that always causes that regardless of load order.
So I'd check if you got any mods recently that might conflict, first.

Hi there,

So I don't know what I've done wrong exactly - but after using this mod for months (years?) it's somehow not working now.

All the units this mod changes are looking um.. very screwed up. Like just a blobby mess of arms and legs.

I've just unsubbing/resubbing. I've tried unsubbing, validating my game files, then resubbing. I've made sure this mod is at the top of my load order too.

As I said, I've been using this mod for so long and it's been absolutely perfect up until now. Can you perhaps offer any advice?

If you want a mod with only those units, you can easily open my mod up in pack file manager and just delete the rows containing the units you do not want. Then save it as a new mod and play.

Would love a mod that has the Shielded Eternal Guards (+ the RoR one) separately,

and one with the Hawk-Eyes (RoR Waywatchers) separately

Thank you! That was the clue I needed. For anyone else who might run into this narrow problem, there is a conflict between this mod at some of Jadawin's battle tweaks missile nerfs.

For this mod to work, the land_units_tables file has to be edited. There I change the units animation and voicelines. However, this is the same file that carries all of a units battle stats, so any mod that in any way touches upon wood elf battle stats will affect this mod.

I'm curious about why this has such a hard time with other mods. I just spent a couple hours tediously loading, playing for a bit and reloading, and turning mods on and off to try to get a load order that doesn't turn the lady glade guards into flickery cosmic body horror nightmares of busted vertices. I still haven't worked out what's causing the problem. It's something non obvious because as far as I know I've turned off everything that might impact the units.

It will probably not be compatible, though you could open my mod in Pack File Manager and change the stats so that they are in line with your other mod. Then place my altered mod at the top of the mod load order.

I could add the same texture as the waywatchers now have (Kalara texture), to the wildwood rangers, let me know if you would want that. Should work but might be a bit repetitive?

Update with the new textures is out. I gave the RoR version the helmets and kept the regular unit helmetless. Let me know if you encounter any problems or see things you would like changed. I will update the Sfo version soon.

Personally I think the Kalara helmet might be overkill on those units, in terms of look - it's too "heavy", if this makes sense.

The Waystalkers would also look very cool, but it's up to you if you want to. Giving both Kalara's Models would make them look very unique.

Do you mind using Kalara's model from the Huntsmarshal campaign for the female Waywatchers?

It looks a lot better and cooler than the Waywatcher models.

If you want to use both mods you could try to open the officer mod in pack file manager and change the unit animations to the same ones from my mod. I can not confirm that this would fix everything, but you could try

@andreasgaehwiller UPD it was the Officers for most factions mod which caused it. Turning it off fixed it. But can that be somehow accounted for? Its a cool mode and offivers for units look great. Just have to reskin them too into appropriate models to stop glitches from happening...

This can happen if you have other reskin mods enabled. Moving this mod to the top of the load order can help too
