This is so cool and your graphics are just awesome.
I'll do that, as it will enable me to attempt a new extreme ice sheet geyser-only challenge :D
Once again, thanks for your work!
Because it was planned as a high tier building in LOTR mod. so this need stupidly high cost and many research points. :)
to edit cost :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\241100\1559813783\Defs\Buildings_Production_GCS.xml
open this file and delete '<Gold>50</Gold>' or change some number. thanks.
Just a question: why do the 2 geyser ovens require silver and gold respectively? I assume you wanted to balance the cost, but it doesn't make much sense.
Look at the stone ovens from ZARS Tribal Reborn or Medieval Times: they have a large stone cost, some steel, and that's it.
Would you consider rebalancing them?
sorry that's too hard for me. at least for now.
1. update sooon
2. yes. geyser's heat + little more
3. no. only stony.
4. 4x4
5. yes. Recommended to make room for many reasons :)
1: Does this support Bulk cooking?
2. Does it still produce heat? If yes, at what rate? (same as thermal generator or campfire?)
3. Can this be made of different "stuff"
4. How many tiles does it consume? 4x4 or 6x6?
5. Does the "working outdoors" penalties still apply?
I'm also guessing if this produces heat, it could speed up your food/corpse spoilage rate, cause uncomfortable working conditions, and maybe even fires if the temp isn't managed. Of course we can just cook outside, but then we'd have to think about cleanliness, food attracting wild animals, working outside debuff, etc...
Having eaten geyser cooked bread in Iceland I can confirm it is not soggy, even if some water vapor gets in the heat cooks it right back out, so even a stone chiseled cooking vessel would do just fine with a lid
Seriously do yourselves a favor and go to Iceland in winter, it is the most beautiful place I've ever been and the south east coast is where I want to be when I die. And even if you don't like mushrooms be sure to eat at the one greenhouse which grows them, I was skeptical when my parents dragged me there but the buffet style spread was great, turns out you can even make "butter" from mushrooms!
Since all the produce there is grown indoors the selection is quite limited so make sure you bring along something to help keep your bowels regular, you probably want a portable water filter too unless you like the egg smell and funky taste of sulfur water
Mind the hotspring heated pools though, some spots by the inflow can get mighty hot...
