There is a problem. The MG's seem to only hit the head and if it hits anything else it bounces like a pawn is wearing armour.

This mod refuses to work for me. My load order is Core/CE/Frontlines (CE) and I get tons of errors like "Could not resolve cross reference: No verse.thingdef named bullet_792x51mmMauser_FMJ found to give to CombatExtendedVerbPropertiesCE VerbPropertiesIMG". It also removes all of the ammo types from the dev and scenario menus. Have I done something wrong? I would love to use it in my playthrough, but these problems are hard for me to ignore.

Suddenly when shooting the howitzer or the mid range mortar, it takes about 1 minute for the howitzershell/ mortar grenade to reach the target. Any idea how to fix this?

defensive buildings (sandbags, etc) will block being able to fire just like a wall would

I think that happens if there are trench sandbags next to the gun. Try removing the sandbags. I wouldn't think the sandbags block the aim of the guns but I guess they do. Either way the reason it doesn't shoot is because the aim is blocked.

Im using the Lewis gun and sometimes it refuses to shoot? It will do the aiming cone on the end of the barrel but not shoot. Its random too, cant pin whats causing it.

Neither of the CE standalone patches you have work in the slightest, they both cause LOADS of errors.

Would it be possible to change the trench height from 0.8 to -0.8? Since it's CE version that should work well. The reason behind this suggestion is that I wanted to have two lines of defense, with trenches from this mod and CE embrasures behind it. IRL it would work without friendly fire, because embrasures are positioned higher than trenches, but I asked about this on CE discord and was informed that it would only work if the trench height was negative, otherwise I risk getting friendly fire.

That said, if your Bomb errors had disappeared, that means you installed another mod which is overwriting a vanilla abstract or the Combat Extended abstracts, which is usually a bad sign and not a good one. =)

@Da]BSE[WuergerKing: Yep, it's Combat Extended causing Bomb errors. It's a great mod and all, but it adds the bomb damage stat modifier to *all* vanilla objects with a patch, which means that for other mods that try to add a stat modifier to their own objects, the only way to ensure compatibility with CE is to patch their own mod inside their own mod, or derive from non-vanilla abstracts entirely, both of which are a little silly. (PatchOperationTest to see if Bomb damage multiplier exists, PatchOperationAdd it if not, and then PatchOperationReplace... rather than including Bomb damage multipliers in the Defs directly.) Alongside a college education I've been working on an unreleased mod very-off-and-on since A16 Combat Realism and was a little chuffed that I had to "fix" what someone else broke. ;-)

To anyone who is experiencing bugs with the manned turrets not firing, make sure they aren't firing over Razorwire/Barbed wire. The turrents act as if they don't have line of sight if this is the case.

@ VeryBadName: What is happening? Are the colonists aiming and aiming? I need more detail, sorry. Also I cannot promise any solutions, cause CE itself is causing bugs from time to time...

@ Lonfield: Great, everything should work out just fine now. You can ignore these red alerts, they seem to be made by Combat Extended itself as other mods with bomb damge multipliers produce these errors as well. Fun fact: For me the just disappaered one day without updating anything at all. So summa summarum: Ignore these erros, they wont do any harm. I have no clue what causes them, but other mods got these errors too.

Yes! but for what I can see, after whatever may have happent I'm getting only some minor errors.

No, no, I didn't instal both and I downloaded it yesterday, but I'll download it again to check if it works. I had some troubles with bunkers too, but i decided to not use that one. I'll let you know what I find

@ All: Atm there is still a red error, claiming the steps and ladders got multiple damage multiplicators. Thats not the fact, I hope I can figure that out!
