Is it intended?

For some reason I forgot to comment :p Seriously great map. The introductory room was easy enough. It took me a while to get started in the main room but I was able to get in a nice flow after overcoming that beginning hurdle, though that ending sequence afterward had me going for ages. Very satisfying to solve, thanks!

Thanks libby! I'll try to fix the issues you've found.
Libbybapa 2 Sep, 2019 @ 11:43pm
Oh, one criticism... please add an arrow pointing up at the small portal surface in the hallway (the one near the blue dropper). I spent an inordinate amount of time before I saw that and it is key to that part of the logic.
Libbybapa 2 Sep, 2019 @ 11:39pm
Absolutely fantastic puzzle. At first I was a bit overwhelmed by all the connections, but it all fits together so nicely. The end sequence took me quite a while to sort out but it all fell into place beautifully. Thumbs up and favorite. Excellent work.

that doesn't seems to be the right link

Thanks for playing @Nock! Always a pleasure seeing you play. Thanks for playing @camerson1313. Maybe you can send me a PM with your alternate solution?

This is the reason I'm glad your not churning out maps every week 🤣 - Very clever map, nice use of elements. Just that one point that confused me, however if I'd have gone back and read the description, I'd have probably not been so confused.

Amazing puzzle! Finally got around to playing it, and loved every minute of it. Here's my blind playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8UbRSx5oZk

Looks like I missed some of the hints you placed, because I never noticed the gel/ cube colors or white strips by the piston platforms , but I managed to solve regardless. I believe I did the last move of 2nd room slightly unintended. There's an alternate way to fizzle the green cube .

@Joric Thanks! I added the video to the description.
Joric 12 Mar, 2019 @ 8:46am
OK my playthrough, 10 minutes: https://youtu.be/hPEHKHm6rAQ it's by far the longest I ever recorded. Could be cut down to 5-6 minutes but I don't want to play anymore.

Thanks all! Im glad you liked it.

@Joric first setup is way overcomplicated, second is unintended
Joric 11 Mar, 2019 @ 2:26am
OK this map is beyond unintended and playthrough have been recorded already. Thumb up.

Excellent map! Took me a bit to understand the layout and connections, and quite a while to solve. Great portal and cube management. Also, I absolutely love the blobs of gel to indicate which cube to use where . Thumbs up and added to favorites.
One minor comment: The floor button to reverse the funnel is kind of hidden behind the pillar with the laser relay. I completely forgot about it for a while which made the map a lot harder. Maybe put some signage or something? Also, the timing is really tight to run from that button to the piston platform.
jandlml 28 Feb, 2019 @ 10:33pm
another great map! definitely needed a couple hints on this one. had my cubes all wrong
Narkodes 22 Feb, 2019 @ 1:17am
I'll have a look. Hope the changes didn't destroy the visual appearance. Btw, the usage of gel is superb. One, last thing: The dot signage can be misleading. In my solution I used the 2-dot-floor surface for the first and the second step, while the other surface is only for the third step.

@Doorknob Thanks for playing! I've updated the map around the time you were playing it. Things should be fixed now.
Doorknob 21 Feb, 2019 @ 4:29pm
Awesome puzzle. I think I found an unintentional solution though. In the second room I didn't use the rising platform, the orange funnel, or the room with the yellow fizzler. I killed the green cube so that it respawned and shot up into the funnel, and I killed the orange cube so that it would respawn and trigger the bridge. Then I used the ramp in the big room to climb up and jump to the bridge.
•‹†ρđ› ĐūšР2ķ•  [author] 21 Feb, 2019 @ 3:39pm
@Narkodes Thanks for your input. I've fixed/implemented most of your suggestions. As for the timed trip to the piston platform; I've tested it with a jump to the platform and made it every single time consistently. So I guess I leave it as is.
Narkodes 21 Feb, 2019 @ 11:36am
@•‹†ρđ› ĐūšР2ķ•: There are also some portal surfaces the player can avoid for the whole map (for example the wall surfaces near the blue cube dropper or the 3 high portals on that "pillar" with the relay inside.)
It's also possible to throw the green cube into the highest funnel when you're in the activated funnel below. Sounds crazy, but the execution is easy. Way more difficult is the intended way to use the piston platform: when you leave the polarity switch, you have to be super fast. I think that's a bit too tough. Another issue is the fact that the diagonal recess under the exit door area can be abused in order to skip large parts of the map. Just visit the exit room with a lightbridge and you can easily jump on it from that mentioned recess.

My solution is the same as Andi's. I wasn't sure about the way the blue cube gets destroyed, it felt a bit weird. However, good to know it's the correct move. Really enjoyed that map, big thumbs up :>
Narkodes 21 Feb, 2019 @ 11:36am
@•‹†ρđ› ĐūšР2ķ•: The intended way to free the orange cube for the first time is this I guess: Using the flipable panels and 2 cubes, so that the original laser beam gets 2x reflected into the flipped lightbridge-panel and comes out in the laserroom through laser relay and into the catcher. Is that correct? But I knew 2 other easier methods. This here for example: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1661791101 (I used the surface near the blue cube button) or this would also be possible: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/298199941803933696/547866629652873231/20190220192801_1.jpg
Andi 21 Feb, 2019 @ 7:38am
Great puzzle! Destroying the blue cube feels a bit creative but is okay for me The rest of the map is really well thought out and logical. Perhaps the time to get to the platform is somewhat thight. Favorited!
•‹†ρđ› ĐūšР2ķ•  [author] 21 Feb, 2019 @ 7:04am
@Andi Yep! that's all intended. Thanks for playing.

•‹†ρđ› ĐūšР2ķ•  [author] 21 Feb, 2019 @ 1:18am
Thanks guys! I'll make a solution video in the near future to identify any unintendedness.
@Narkodes Can you say which unintentional possible solutions you identified?
lapicidas 20 Feb, 2019 @ 5:57pm
Ah, okay changing yellow and green
lapicidas 20 Feb, 2019 @ 2:42pm
@ Narkodes No, I am pretty sure that my steps are intended.
Narkodes 20 Feb, 2019 @ 2:21pm
@lapicidas: You're very close ;) Do you think that some of your steps before were unintended?
lapicidas 20 Feb, 2019 @ 2:17pm
But I cannot finish it: the last fence is a little to high :steamsad:
At the moment it is a bit unlogical for me, because I need one cube to open the door, one cube to open the fizzler and one cube to activate the lightbridge. I have to think about it.
But the way to come until this fence is very clever - really good job.
Narkodes 20 Feb, 2019 @ 2:17pm
Great map with nice ideas and a good visual presentation. Regarding the music issue: When I try to select music in the aforementioned beemod version, everything works fine. It just crashes when you try to use the prelistening-function in beemod. Ignore that and choose a song you like. That should work.

I'm not sure about the correct solution. I guess my way could be intentional, but some steps felt a bit strange. I also recognized some other unintentional, possible solutions, so I tried to avoid them.

Great puzle !!! Absolute a favorite!
