No problem with you re-releasing it, please include credit or add me as a creator on it, thanks :)

No worries haha, glad you like the X05s. Btw would you mind if I release a version of this with reversible headlights etc on the workshop?
Thanks in advance s

sorry, I'm not actively maintaining anything.. when I get back into the workshop I'll be focusing on CS2. good to hear that mod has kept improving, though! should make Circular Quay possible. and kudos for doing the X05.

Hey Robert, would you be able to make this visually compatible with the Reversible tram AI? The headlight effects are currently showing in both directions, which can be fixed by moving the “Tram Movement” effect to one of the middle cars as it messes with the flags.
Thanks in advance!

This tram is amazing and runs so smoothly in my city! They are really good and keep up the good work. In the future can you please make the 7 segment type that will be used on the Parramatta Light Rail?
Robert  [author] 21 Mar, 2022 @ 6:12am
as of the 9th Feb patch notes on Reversible Tram AI, converting the vehicles was no longer required - prior to that patch the mod had a built-in option to convert any tram assets for you. I haven't tested the mod myself but I don't think there's anything I need to do to modify this asset for it to work.
CydonianKnight21 21 Mar, 2022 @ 2:44am
Hey Robert do you think you might update this to be compatible with the new Reversible Tram AI mod? Theres a bunch of Melbourne trams already compatible but it'd be good to see the Sydney one working with it

its silly they left that out of the base game but I'm glad someones working on a mod to fix it

Another in the legacy of botched transit projects in NSW - that's sad, I like these! fortunately these models are fault-free :D

The L1 light rail line in Sydney will be out of service until early 2023 because of cracks found in these trains.

the best tram asset along with that melburnian one
Crazy image of trams from both cities that hate each other

Could you make the sydney light rail Alstom Citadis X05
Robert  [author] 9 Oct, 2019 @ 6:54pm
I've got diagrams and photos for it, but don't hold your breath!
龍少 JON 9 Oct, 2019 @ 6:26pm
will you make the new L2 Light rail Circular Quay to Randwick Kingsford?
Robert  [author] 8 Jul, 2019 @ 6:55pm
The stock running on Sydney Metro is the Alstom Metropolis, but the problem there is that it's a mass produced product with a dozen configurable components, so when you google Alstom metropolis there's a lot of variety. I have used diagrams available on the Sydney Trains website to ensure I have the right proportions. For the Urbos 3 (also configurable) I took someone else's model and heavily modified it based on a pdf I dug up from a CAF presentation which had a profile diagram of the nose. I gotta have reference diagrams to even get enthusiastic about it.
Robert  [author] 8 Jul, 2019 @ 6:47pm
Not until they put a diagram up like they have for all the other trains :P
iGGY 8 Jul, 2019 @ 6:31pm
will u do the sydney metro?
Amayasnep 29 Jun, 2019 @ 11:50am
Reminds me of the Confederation Line light rail that's opening up in Ottawa in a couple months.

Amazing work as always. All this new sydney content has gotten me back into playing C:S. Time to now expand my light rail network :D
Looking forward to what you get to creating next! :)
Robert  [author] 23 Feb, 2019 @ 4:36pm
Thanks! Chifley is on my list. It's a complicated building.
ThaiBean 23 Feb, 2019 @ 4:15pm
Chifley tower would be cool to have can you make that Robert i been a big fan of your work
Soul 22 Feb, 2019 @ 10:31pm
dont you dare make any Canberra content. bad enough the place is still standing, let's not start immortalising it in videogames.
Robert  [author] 22 Feb, 2019 @ 7:50pm
Parliament house would be a cool challenge, for sure! My next one is going to be a remaster of the existing opera house workshop item.
matvstheworld 22 Feb, 2019 @ 7:32pm
Sorry Rob, didn't even read everyone else's comments first, just assumed no one would be asking as there's basically no Canberra stuff on here! Nice to know there's actually other local players.
AdvancedLoiterer 21 Feb, 2019 @ 8:09pm
Just found your workshop for Sydney/NSW assets and love them. Thank you for your time and creativity in providing them for our Eu/US based Cities:Skylines game. It's nice to place something in my games that is closer to home.
Robert  [author] 21 Feb, 2019 @ 1:54am
Jesus, how many Skylines players are there in Canberra. I can see why living out there would make you think about nicely planned cities, I suppose. Ugh I'll think about it. No promises.
Acorn_Order 20 Feb, 2019 @ 10:55pm
Great tram Robert. Loving all of the amazing Australian content that your coming out with.

Whilst I understand that your focus is on Sydney items I'd like to add another plus 1 to the suggestions below for a Transport Canberra version of this tram, be it from yourself or another asset creator.
Robert  [author] 20 Feb, 2019 @ 9:57pm
As I said just below your comment, there is basically no chance of me doing that, sorry.

Making a Canberra version would require modifications to the mesh because of the way I optimise texture packing, and a new version of the texture. If it isn't clear from my workshop, I only make things that are in Sydney.
matvstheworld 20 Feb, 2019 @ 8:52pm
Any chance of making a Transport Canberra version of this? It's the same amount of modules, just in a different livery and no opal advertisements!
Robert  [author] 20 Feb, 2019 @ 3:49am
But anyone should feel free to dump these assets and crack them open to explore and repurpose them. Making 3d models can be a fun skill to learn!
Robert  [author] 20 Feb, 2019 @ 3:47am
I can't say that's likely to happen any time soon.. I have so much stuff in Sydney I want to make. I often question why I go the extra mile even just to publish line colour versions of things.. I'm not ever going to use those.
Партия регионов 20 Feb, 2019 @ 2:35am
I hope you would make a Canberra light rail version please. They use the same CAF Urbos too.
BUZ 20 Feb, 2019 @ 1:55am
Love it
