Please update this fantastic mod

The turbos are broken with the new rF2 UI. It works with the old UI. Either fix the mod or remove it from the workshop.

I found a way to resolve the top speed bug , Just start the game with the Old UI ;)

Yeah I'm seeing the same lack of power issue, barely hitting 200 kmph on the long straight at Jacarepagua. Seems both the 1986 mods are broken, weird acclleration on the CE car too.

Thanks @Doddynco. I found the fork and the Benneton is great. Will give the Brabham a go next. 👍

@danclutton I don't think this mod is still supported, but a while back ChiefWiggum kindly allowed us to use his 1986 F1 models and granted permission to make a fork of this mod. It is still in production, and may be of interest to you.

Same here. Max speed about 140mph and no boost acceleration. Is there any solution? I really want to drive these beasts at top speed!

What happened with this fantastic mod? Something happened after the last update of rf2. There is no power in those cars anymore. Top speed = 235kph. What happened? It seems something wrong with engines or turbo.

The turbo seems to be broken, no psi at all. Pleaseeeee Chief! :-)

It's good mod, but I think cars might be overspining in 2nd and 3rd and 4th gears. I reduced the power, but it comes too quickly.

I was wondering about an Historic Edition too, do you have any plans? I love these cars!

ChiefWiggum is it predicted an historic edition for offline race with AI? Great mod by the way. this and the CART are awesome mods

Great mod, my only real complaint is the turbos in the qualifying setup. The behavior of them compared to the race turbos feels odd to me, I know they're bigger and therefore will spool up slower but it feels odd that they do not spool at all until 10000 rpm is reached. I use wider gearing than the default, and so in qualifying runs I suddenly lose power in some gears and that can be annoying. If the behaviour could match that of the race turbos, or spool just slower than them, it would be perfect :)

Any idea where I can get Brands Hatch or the Old Osterichring for RF2?

shame theres no tracklist as such - but if you can get the old osterrichring and brands hatch, you can use the tracks from f1 1988 - another fine match

My expectations for this mod were high, but damn this thing is way better than I expected. The sound, the looks, the feel, the speed, it's all there. Thank you for making this mod Chief!

These cars are BRUTAL fast! The car practically wants to run out from under you in 2nd gear in quali mode!
