thanks for this. i don't like being surprised in this way, and this effect really startles me whenever it happens, and makes me very jumpy, and was the reason why i never bother to do the first DD quest. now i can actually beat darkest dungeon :3

No, it still works. You likely have another mod that replaces the same file (shared/dd_effects.darkest). I pushed an update that fixes some weird whitespace just in case that causes a problem for some people. If you still have a problem using my mod, ask for help in the Moonlit Dungeon discord server.

Hi, can you make a alternate 100% eldritch flash version? Like it flashes everytime you interact with it. Or can you tell me how to do it?

I hate this flash, the rest of the game is stressful enough just let me enjoy my village. Nice mod!

Since the other mod replaces sprites, when you check your particular hero his sprite sometimes flashes and disappears for a bit. I'm gonna try this mod instead. Thank you for it.

Actually, it looks like that mod replaces the eldritch sprites, while mine just turns the flash off. Your choice.
