@CTH2004, it isn't in the show, but I didn't come up with it- it is exclusive to the movie, Serenity. It replaced the show's ATV mule somewhat.

I watched the series, and didin't see this. Did you come up with this, or did I miss something on the show?

Looks amazing. Great attention to detail and recreating (in voxels!!) Firefly ships/crafts is just cool! Excellent work!

I did this build after my favorite movie as my first build attempt! Always loved this craft. You nailed the replica! Love your work

Operator Hoot-
Yeah, I was considering adding the docking pads but didn't want to ruin the aesthetics.
What I have always done is add a docking pad pointing upwards on the rear top corner of the mule, and when storing inside the cargo bay I line the docking pad up with the hanging truss block with the light attached to it, move to full 3 meter hover height, use the hover booster to 'jump' the extra distance and dock with the trussing. This gives the appearance that the mule is stowed like in the movie. It can be difficult to master, but it looks good, and it clears the floor. To make it dock smoother and stow level with the floor, sometimes adding an extra block on either the trussing in Serenity or the Mule is necessary. The light attached to the cargo bay trussing can also get in the way.

Looks cool, can't wait to try it out with the full set. note: as far as I remember, when not in use, the Mule was winched to the roof of the cargo bay to maximise the cargo bay. Maybe a couple of docking clamps on the rear upper corners, just behind the seats.
