Well, the sandstorms are loud, but I don't remember it being 'earrape' loud. The design idea is to reduce player awareness of the enemies.
Regardless, I don't think I have access to the source file of the map anymore.

The volume of the sandstorm is so loud. My friends and I were laughing so hard at the fact that this map earrapes the players. Why make it that loud? Please fix.

"Official Map Quality" is an insult to this map, this is head and shoulders above most of whats in-game already.

Cool custom map with sand storm event. The performances are not really great and deteriorate quickly after the first wave. I played it HoE solo with my survivalist lvl 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_wsidd8_dM

Nice map, I like the sandstorm feature but I feel like sandstorm is being quite a bit too loud...

Fixed a bug where you could still hear sounds and get camera shake if you die during storm and respawn after.

A little too big. Maybe remove the trader pod from the very bottom of the map so it's not impossible to get to in time if you're on the surface.

Hi =)
This evening i died in sandstorm and saw this error messages in chat.

After respawn storm sound was bugged, some places loud, some places no storm sound.
And ground was shaking until end of map, also after storm ended.

The map is good. It just needs a little bit of polish, as some signs and such are stretched and a few piles of debris lack any collision.

Recommend disabling player collision on these objects.

Good new everyone, i just came back from server testing storm fix and i'm glad to say that Sandstorm is now working perfectly fine as intended. I'll be also release patch tomorrow fixing some small issues. For more info read the change notes.

Awesome work, awesome map.
My only complaints would be that the sand storm (although a nice element) is too loud, and that the bunker itself is somewhat too deep/takes too much time to traverse from top to bottom and vice versa.
The interior design of said bunker however, as well as the above ground area is exceptionally well done imo.
Were the bunker as well as the sound of the storm to be scaled down by, say, one third or fourth, this could easily pass for an official map for me.
(take my critisism on the bunkers scale with a grain of salt though, as I am biased and have a personal distaste for any map size above medium)

I don't recognize any of that bugs in solo, but I understand that's possible for server
Rumble should be stoped as you walk into indoor environment when there's storm and should stop pretty quick after it's ending.

Okay, might be a bit too much lence flare, I'll edit it up.

Also, I need to know the storm sounds bug you're describing is lasts for a big on start of it, or through the whole storm?

Here are my suggestions:
- The ground shaking lasts to long and late joiners dont recognize any shaking.
- Storm sounds are very loud at some places on surface and at other places on surface there is no storm sound.

Pretty cool idea, and good performance.
Good points are...
• the whole map is fitting, no unneccasary meshes/volumes or unfitting sounds. Even if you could change the material of the bus on the surface. ;)
But ...
• The storm is very much to loud. Lower it at least 3db
•what are you doing with this rumble over the whole match. :o
It lasts too long and is very anyoing... and lets say 50m in the ground not very realistic^^
• also the rumble ist just starting if you are already joined in... so if someone else join on later rounds the whole mapscenarie is very different for every client
-> Change this events to Client activated / or replicated to client.
• the lense flares... ...to much of them.... are there any lights without them^^

Anyway... its a very cool map.... but could be even better. :lunar2019coolpig:
