Yeah, it definitely was a mod conflict. Restoring L4D2's original files and re-downloading your mod fixed the problem.

I knew about this problem and tried to avoid it. Once tried, everything is normal. Maybe it's a conflict with another mod?

Do any of these weapon sounds have that annoying glitch at the end (the second of static, or the beep)? I used to be able to fix audio problems like that by using 'snd_rebuildaudiocache' in the console, but it doesn't seem to fix problems like that any more.
