I've seen dogs freak tf out as well. Cats typically do not care who walks on the sidewalk outside their front door. Dogs can go ape, and you can't code that away. I'd prefer both types of pets be quiet.

This is why dogs > cats.

@✪AzazalTRAP, Thanks :) and the mod simply replaces the human pet cat's sound files with blank audio so the little bag of fur doesn't meow in-game.

Oh dear. You should probably also avoid (or rename the sound files of) the incredibly bizarre endgame weapon Meowmere [terraria.gamepedia.com] in Terraria. It's a sword that fires bouncing nyan cats, complete with rainbow trails and lots of meow sounds as they bounce around...

I do not have a cat, but still...this mod is just so good, that I had to like it ^^

@Stagdragon, She really does lose her mind when she hears anything that sounds like another cat lol.

One of the neighbour's cats walked by my patio window and Tessa full-on lunged herself at the poor thing.
Luckily the patio door wasn't open so all she did was make this almighty THUD sound that left me laughing uncontrollably for 5 minutes. I don't know how she doesn't hurt herself!

@Cat Bread, I don't like intentionally upsetting Tessa, so unfortunately a video showing her react to the game's meow sounds isn't an option.
