specifically fuck this map, it was a weekly quest 2 weeks in a row for me, 1st time wasnt bad except i had some trouble finding the quest spawn as it was outside the map, and this last week i got the cache again outside the map and when i activated it it flew into the void. not only is this map non functional for what steam VR recommends it as, it also is a major ad for the creator whose face and credentials are all over the place, and not to mention the massive bilboard outside the map taunting me as i tried to reach the geo cache. if i could rate this map any lower i would. im attempting to block the creator as i never want to see another map of theirs again. and how is this map even getting recommended so many times. currently is the only quest i have its Wednesday and i got no resets for the quests. fuck this map and fuck steam VR for forcing me to download it.

if the author was trying to share their textures this obviously isnt the best way to do it so i am realy wondering what i am missing or what lead steam to promoting this map in their weekly item thing. am i missing something or is this done at random. whole thing is weird because while the textures are good the map looks like its still in its early stages which is a bit confusing as it was created 2 years ago. is this some kind of internet egghunt that i dont get or am i looking to deep into it. this is not ment as an insult to the author i am just genuinely confused as i have seen way more detailed maps being created in basic blender tutorials and because the author lists that they thought courses to children i am assuming that they already have knowledge far past the basic construction of a room

is there something i am missing. promoting yourself is ok but this is 50% ads. the person who created this has one vr item in their inventory so im gonna assume they just made this to promote themselve, but what i am not getting is what exactly they are promoting themselves for, the room doesnt have that much details and the textures look like some kind of photogrametry if you wanna test out stuff thats ok but why make 50% of the map an advertisement with the only good thing about it being the textures which only are a minor part of the map.
