@sunnydance - thanks for the detailed feedback and I agree with your points! Really I could do with the X maps being harder and then a medium difficulty in-between. Newbies find the vanilla maps very hard, some find the vanilla maps very easy and X versions very hard, and then players like yourself who find even the X maps a bit easy. But what I would say is I'm aiming for more of a story game-play experience. I only want these maps to be played 1 - 3 times otherwise I feel the story experience gets frustrating. This is why I don't mind some of the things you mentioned happening on your 3rd try. What I love though is all of the different ways people play the maps and complete it in ways I didn't imagine!
This all said I will definitely use your feedback in the future, especially Phase 12X which I plan to make a true nightmare finale map!
Some remarks:
-Never got the iron ore nor did I get the additional stone; did everything with the 1 stone mine and buying ore.
-The waves in my humble opinion are too slowly increased. Can really be turned up a notch or 2 mid-game.
-The start is fun and challenging, but on 3rd go, I decided to simply go to the 2 caves with Ava and elite sniper and 2 soldiers. So before even the 1st slow wave started I had already taken the recourses of those two caves, making the start obviously a lot easier, so maybe something to think about.
-I would add some fast zombies in Eden on hard level as well to make it bit more challenging. I cleared most of it with Ava alone.
-I would add at least 1 giant on each wave at the end making the total to 4 in order to make it harder.
These are just my thoughts. Your maps are great and have a nice and rich storyline to them. So please keep up the good work.

@ImKibitz haha indeed! Can't wait to see your attempt(s) and I must find a way to get a spicey meatball reference into a map. I hope you got the Winking Giant reference in Phase 5 :)
I did do an update recently that should have fixed the stone issue (caused by a strange bug). Can you restart your game, making sure Steam Workshop has done the update and let me know if you can use it yet? I never had a problem with the giant and he's got a setting not to get close to the command center but obviously that doesn't always work :(
