Hello, is there a way to find out the ending to Tunnel Vision? As in the flavor text. I played all the way to the end, but lost on a few bad moves and just wanted to know the ending story, so I can just move on to phase 7. I love your maps man! They are great!

The bugs that held up progress have been fixed and published by the devs. Testing on Phase 8 can resume! Expect Phases 7, 8, 9 and 10 to be released w/c 18th Feb :)

@Netrivo - the devs have said they've fixed the issue (and others I've encountered) but are not releasing the fix until the next update, but there is no ETA on that. I am at least making good progress on Phases 9 and 10 so good things come to those who wait :)

@peppi89 & @GIR - thank you for the kind feedback. Phase 7 is essentially finished but I want to release it with Phase 8. I'm busy working on Phases 9 & 10 whilst I wait for the issue with Phase 8 to be fixed. Depending on how long it takes for that to happen there may well be Phases 7 - 10 released altogether in a couple of weeks. Chapter 3 really does conclude the story and is a lot of fun to make. But me testing Phase 10 now is already giving me the chills! Thanks again for the support - keeps me going :)

@WhatEver @Blaidd @MerlinCross - thank you all for the feedback and I'm really glad to hear people enjoying the map. Mayors can often make maps easier but I agree it is even more so the case on this map. If anyone finds this map too easy I suggest taking a look at Phase 6X :D

I liked it. The map is about as "Cavey" as you can get given the tilesets and the challenge of "Building a defense against an unlimited horde" was pretty fun and panicky at times. The actual final wave was pretty easy in when compared to the consistent wave.

Only failed a few times when Ava lagged behind my soldier ball and the sound drew Harpies. Also Your first Mayor or two can really break this map depending on what you're given(Free Tech Basilta is really good normally but here it's pretty busted if you can rush it out)

@betii0410 and @Mr.Aux - thank you both for your feedback! We'll see after Chapter 3 - I'm hoping to take a break and enjoy the main dev campaign, maybe do an extra mission or two with the new assets when they are out and then take it from there...

On a general note - I've decided to push back the Phase 7 release date closer to Phase 8 as the maps compliment each other and I don't want a big gap between their release. I'm really excited to show off what happens in them though so hopefully it will be worth the wait :)

Map 6 was a blast along with all the others, cant wait to see more of what you have. Totaly enjoyed everything you have created. It actually feels like you created the campaign mode for them with the amount of content you added. Keep it going, totally loving what your doing.

Thanks for all the feedback, you are all awesome! I am struggling with fatigue at the moment having had so many late nights making 2X+5+6+6X in the past 2 weeks. I might push back the next map by a day or two to ease off a bit as I don't want the quality of maps to suffer :)

Thanks, I will compare settings and try some variations and see if it makes any difference. You will probably have to make a new save, but first it's worth quitting the game, let Steam do the update and reload the save to see if it's done it. If not then sorry but you will have to start again. The bit you can't access gives you 40 food and reveals the map, so up to you. Sorry about that but thanks for reporting the issue. In future I'll make mountain/tree combo's wider.

I had a similar issue in other custom scenarios where some specially-placed quarry areas would be partially off the edge of the map in my case.

Thanks for cutting down the trees. Will that require a new save file?

That is really odd. There is that gap there as some reported the mountains cutting off the stone area. This is how the area you had problems with should be: https://imgur.com/a/KFrJuNx

I just watched KenseiTV stream this map and it was exactly as it should be. I'm now in the editor and will cut down some trees for you :)

Yes, I could place the quarry next to the command centre. I also had some extra space behind it. Here's a screenshot of the centre of the map. That's really weird if people are getting slightly different maps....

@Zumbo Prime - thanks for the screenshot. Yeah your map has rendered completely differently to how it's mapped out in the editor! I will try and edit it somehow to fix it for you, but that's a really annoying bug as it's hard to design a map when it doesn't come out how it should! Thanks for posting. Yeah there's nothing in the truck to the southeast, just the iron supply.

I don't think so. The closest thing I got was the written notice saying RAIDER west, danger south. I haven't explored the south/southwest yet so I may have missed the spot.

As an aside, I got 64 food when I reached the building supplies in the northeast, and nothing from the truck in the southeast.

@フロリアン - thanks! Yes that is a strange but known about bug which I had happen to me once. Nothing I can do about it but I think it's just a name thing so shouldn't have an effect on the gameplay.

One little "bug" i encountered: one sniper i trained got renamed to McKenzie when he reached veteran status. No "keep alive" bling appeared on the map so i assume it is just the name thing

@Blessings O'Babylon - thanks mate, it was hard to judge the difficulty on this map. It will be good to see how many struggle as I think it depends on how well the player adapts to the different play style. Sounds like the X-version is more suitable for you - it's good to have done a playthrough as it does not forgive as much!

And yes I too nearly lost Ava to her deciding to path through the infected rather than around - hopefully the devs will release a way to buff 'hero' units so I can give them more HP for incidents like this!

@Tartansilver5 - it appears there is a bug with the editor/workshop that means the map is rendered slightly differently for some. I've just done an update which moves the stone slightly to try and make it useable no matter how the mountains render. Hope this helps and thanks for your patience.

Map completed. Outside the one issue i messaged to you in private, this map worked perfectly. I did end up enjoying the risk/reward of snatching the supply cashes, leaving my line with less defense, and i found it worth it to pylon all the way to the iron area, even if just to have an extra supply of Market money.

Overall, of all the maps played so far, i think this is the map that makes me want to try the "X" version the most, as i think it was a bit too easy. Didnt even sweat until the final wave, and even then the infected only breached my first position.

Again, and this is still true of the other maps, i enjoy the shorter map length. It makes it less painful to have to restart... As i did when Ava decided the best way back to base from the forest was through the north exit.

Which i hadnt cleared yet.
